Haven't played Tekken since 3, and by played I mean mashed on buttons to prove it was garbage compared to Street Fighter.

I've come around and am hoping to get into it - watched some high level play and it looks so hype.

Any advice on a good place to learn the game?
Does Tekken have a "gootecks"?

I really only play Tekken casually with a group of friends, and haven't kept up much since we stopped playing Tag 2.

I thought I was gonna be playing Asuka in this game, but there's a character that has tiger projectiles and I don't think I can pass that up.

So after playing with this a bit tonight, I am liking it. The only problem I am running across is double button moves. I don't know what it is. I can reliably pull them off in SFV, and I've never noticed it being an issue with button sensitivity on my fightstick before. It seems like all my drops (for the most part) come from the double button moves.

I'm going to need to spend a lot more time in practice mode.

is it for single moves or part of strings because there is button buffers in tekken

the online tournaments are really cool, especially as a more casual player getting to take part in the tournament structure is a nice change of pace and you get the feeling of participating in esports without really doing so.. I know that sounds corny as fuck but it's really neat imo.. I wish more fighters did that. Also a nice way to get rewards, even if you don't place in top 3.. I got 4th and got 3 treasure chests

Does anyone know how to change the cpu training commands? I'm trying to record an action for the cpu but it requires the dualshock's touchpad which my stick doesn't have

Been playing the PC version since 7 EST, it's really damn good. Playing a lot of Jin, King and Katarina. Just loaded the ps4 version, load times don't seem as bad as I feared. PS4 pad also feels loads better for Tekken than it did for SFV.

Is anyone else having trouble playing online on PS4? None of ky matches will connect even with 4 or 5 bar connection strength.

For me, at least, 6 button fighters never really feel right on a pad.
Especially Capcom's offerings.

Never had a problem with MK or Tekken on a pad though.

Gonna wait a few days to try the online again because damn was it laggy in some rounds!

Even though my girls Julia, Zafina and Christie are out (Along with my boy Lei), this game was worth the wait!

Sound track is KILLER! Best one to date

You know what, this may have some small issues but man... there is an excellent game here.

Loving Yoshimitsu again. Great soundtrack. What an intro. Netplay is great. And the gameplay is pretty standard tekken but with a super. Works out great! Some real good arcade fun.

Gimme more good stages and costumes.

Despite some longish loading times, weird online options, and letting people fucking deny matches because they don't like my character, I'm having fun. Dunno if I'm gonna stick with Raven
