Good games...I think you won either 3-1 or 3-2 but they were all pretty close. Your Dragunov and Jack team is really frustrating. I take big damage and I get panicky, haha! Talk about a powerful team!

So relatively 2 hours left to finish matches.

Here's what will happen if the following matches aren't held:

Match 1 - AAK vs. defectivelasagna - No correspondence received yet from defectivelasagna so he will go to losers.

Match 2 - Lyte Edge vs. Baekshi - No correspondence received yet from baekshi. Lyte Edge will get automatic victory.

Match 3 - Ccrook vs. witchedwiz - witchedwiz has been very busy with work and unfortunately can't make the matches. Ccrook will get the victory.

Match 4 - Sickboy007 vs. Jubs - Nothing heard from either as far as I know so both will face disqualification.

Match 5 - Lumine vs. Hellix - The PSN downtime messed up their scheduled matches. I'm really hoping they finish.

Edit: Alright, bracket updated. Sickboy007 and Jubs eliminated so Ccrook's wife gets a free pass to the next round. Changes have been made as mentioned above.

Have to commend Hellix for giving the matches to Lumine after their originally scheduled matches got messed up with PSN downtime. Also have to really commend DEATH for not moving forward without a fight and giving the matches to IHaveCandy.

Thanks to all participating. Let's finish Round 3 by Sunday. Please also post in advance if you want to hold your matches on Thursday stream time.

So death just forfeited? Its not his fault candy was banned. Did he at least get in contact with him? Oh well, I guess I'm ready whenever then. Not sure if ihavecandy is even around though.

What's your timezone, anyway? Canada is a huge country. :p

I'm GMT+2. If there's a really big difference, it'll be easier to do it during the weekend.

I'm EST. so it's not as bad as the west coast. I'm home on the evenings usually but today I'll try to get home around 3 pm so it should be a moderately convenient time for you too to get our games in. other than today our best bet is the weekend.

3-5 PM your time is fine by me, probably won't be home much earlier anyway. If I don't make it then, then it's going to be on sunday.

I'm not sure if they got in contact. This was going to be a jaguar mirror match and and one that I absolutely wanted to see happen.

Its partly my fault anyway... IHaveCandy posts pages ago (before he got banned) that he wants to play sunday afternoon, then niners went to the superbowl and I can't get to the TV on time. I can't make contact to IHaveCandy before that so I think he got the right to advance.

Sayah made me look more heroic though. Though still I wont want to advance if he doesnt show up or something, yet I dont want to delay the tourney.

(I still seriously want to fight him so bad).

GG's Fraelynn! I liked the Alex pressure but you were a bit too defensive sometimes. Also, I got away with a lot of unsafe moves. Rule of thumb, when Heihachi does a move that forces you to crouch you get a free WS punish on block.

GGs. The lag was pretty noticeable as expected and I failed to block pretty much every low Heihachi did, so...

Also, I tried to go for a ws2 twice after blocking a hellsweep but it didn't come out at all. Not that I'd get half my combos done anyway. That and Alex's ws4 is a bit stumpy so half the time you're trying to punish something it just wouldn't reach.

EDIT:

And the matches went 3-1 to AAK.

we went at it with Boutdown, Sayah, SDBurton, and the rest of the 2012 crew in dat T6 Lag Dungeon

we fought in SFxT because it had the word Tekken in it even though Hugo was the real hero

but only one of us can make it to winner's finals

this is for not putting Snoop in the OT's title! HAVE AT YOU

Geez Markman is right, Kings are gonna be tops when its all said and done. They just have too many good tools. Good matches guys.

sry i'm not familiar of tournament setup, but i took a look at the brackets and have a quick question. if i lost a match and got move to the loser bracket, i can still be in the finals (winner bracket) if i'm the last man standing in the loser bracket?

You can still win the tournament. Stay alive in Loser's bracket, and the loser of the winner's bracket finals will face you in the loser's finals. If you beat him or her you face the winner of the winner's finals in the grand finals. Winner of the grand finals takes the tournament, loser of grand finals takes 2nd place, and the loser of the loser's finals takes 3rd place.

So Degen.... when can I beset you to "Dogg" status ;)

Just an added note... If you're from losers in the Grand Final, you gotta defeat the guy from the winners bracket in 2 sets. You kinda like sending the winner's bracket champ to the losers bracket (which is referred as "resetting the brackets"), then after that, who wins the next game wins the tourney...
