This honestly is making me rethink my wait for price drops this year plan. I was sort of interested before, mostly do to gaf praise of TDU, now I am excited. It only $10, but I really want to support games/devs that give us a little break, coupled with the gamestop deal, I think I will bite.No_Style said:It's also worth mentioning that this game has an MSRP of $49.99 USD/CAD for consoles and $39.99 USD/CAD for PC.
Smart move by Atari.

Man, they got rid of this? I loved that feature in the first, you could make the cockpit more real feeling (i.e., not staring at most of the wheel on the screen)NullPointer said:Removed:

I guess you are just a low priority customer.....spend moar, cheapo.Neuromancer said:Mine says "Shipping soon." WTF Amazon.
Yep. I guess they rebuilt the underlying systems from scratch and never got the time to implement it.GitarooMan said:Man, they got rid of this? I loved that feature in the first, you could make the cockpit more real feeling (i.e., not staring at most of the wheel on the screen)

I'm not convinced that this game deserves my money. Waiting for GAF impressions.

jred2k said:So how is this game at keeping you going in the right direction during a race? I never tried the first TDU and my only real experience with an open world racer is Burnout: Paradise. The one problem I always had with the game was when I would turn down a road thinking it was a shortcut when it actually put me going the wrong way. Does TDU have a similar system to Burnout with the blinking turn signal or does it take a completely different approach?

It has satnav And I don't know if this is new, but it has a feature called F.R.I.M. Free Ride Instant Money. Dodging other cars, drifting or jumping earns you points. You can string them together to get more money and after three "moves" you can bank the money or wait and try more dodging etc. without hitting anything.jred2k said:So how is this game at keeping you going in the right direction during a race?
