Damn, no wonder everybody thinks the winners are the gaming Oscars.
And they were good trailers. Geoff did a good job with the show this year, IMO.99% of those watching were only interested in seeing new trailers.
When there was only 1.1m watching via the official stream i find this very hard to believe.
What's your point? The people tuned in.99% of those watching were only interested in seeing new trailers.
4 million on Youtube/TwitchMax Concurrent watchers please.
We need a stat that gamers can understand.
How if Switch alone sold 140M consoles? And consoles is just a fraction of the gaming community anyway.Isn't the 150m = the entire gaming population?
People can hate all they want, but it's the best gaming event of the year.People don't want to admit it, but the VGAs are the Oscars of the gaming industry.
Sorry to disappoint.
For her.

Damn, no wonder everybody thinks the other 500+ gaming awards don't exist. Biggest show = win.
Somebody do the math: there were about 1 million viewers on youtube. I don't know how many there were on twitch. Even if it was significantly higher, let's say 3 million on twitch, then that's 4 million.
Where are the other 150 million? I call bullshit!
According to this the Oscars had around 20mio live tv viewers. How does it compare to academy awards?
