I'm excited for a Danganronpa 3 announcement, and information on Ace Attorney 6 and Digimon World: Next Order. Hopefully we get some new information on Persona 5 and Nier as well. And maybe a .Hack announcement? Please?

Anyone think we might see some cool limited edition PS4 unveiled here? I was hoping maybe Japan might get special console for Persona 5, like Vita got for P4D.
Any other likely candidates?

The only ones I'm thinking about are S-E related and would likely be announced next year at one of their events (KH3/FFXV/DQXI and obviously FFVIIR down the line).
Can't really see anything announced at TGS apart from Persona (not really believing it) unless there's a surprise JRPG announcement.

Probably a bit early to reveal, but I'd guess DQXI will get one

- DQXI
- Persona 5
- FFXV
- FF7R
- KH3

I'd say all of those are a lock for real LE's rather than the ones that just get a special harddrive bay. But obviously P5 is the only one that should be close enough to get an announcement at TGS. As far as possibilities go, I think Dragon Quest Builders could receive one. And then you have unannounced Sony games like Gran Turismo 7 and Gravity Rush 2.

No way Gravity Rush 2 ever get a limited console. Not even a plate.

Well you're in luck. Persona 5 and Dragon Quest XI are on the way.

He's probably talking about the PS4 version of DQXI, which we still don't know if it'll be "true" turn-based, or something like DQX.
Shame so many people skipped the 3DS JRPGs too, this was/is the platform to have this gen for this genre...

So with the XB1's poor performance in Japan, any chance for a PS4 port of Azito x Legends? Game looks damn cool, and I feel like pubs might be willing to take a chance on localization if it were at least on PS4.

Sony Japan loves the GR. They've included Kat is basically every game that's had crossover content. And then even celebrated the first anniversary of the game

It might not be a huge series right now, but it's one that they want to become a huge series.

Most devs have an emotional link to the game they've worked on.
I'm sorry but as much as I like it, it's like if any were expecting a Bayonetta 2 special edition console, or an Okami 2 one. It would be great, but it's still not important enough (nor is there proof that the fanbase is big/dedicated enough, unlike some other niche series).

If it becomes a huge series in the future, sure.

A big difference between GR and Bayonetta is that GR is Sony's franchise. They're invested in it for the long term. Had Bayonetta 2 become a big success, there would've been nothing stopping them from taking the IP and making it multiplatform again. Nintendo were basically just renting the IP for an entry. I'm not saying GR2 will receive a LE console it's probably even a long shot. But at the very least it will receive a harddrive bay. Everything gets one of those. Neptunia 7 even got one, and GR sold more than any of the Neptunia games.

I just want a release date for Persona 5. If TGS goes without even getting a JP release date, I can't possibly see how it'll hit the US in 2015, despite Atlus' assurances that it is coming this year. I'm really expecting it to be announced as a world wide release, which afaik would be a first for the series.

Please, anything Atlus. I'm happy with table scraps.

Come on, you know what I meant.
Gravity Rush sold less than 100k in Japan (the main market for those plates) and likely 400k at most WW (no I don't count PS+ downloads).
Neptunia, again, like some other niche franchises, has an extremely dedicated fanbase (lolwaifus) that make publishers choose to make LE and more for even more profit (those games are way cheaper to make than GR).
There's been no particular showing of fan support for GR, a niche franchise from Sony. Niche franchises are supported differently from the various publishers, and it's not hard to look at how Sony supported them in the past, and based on that, if GR2 will get a lot of support or not (at least it'll get more if it's on PS4 as well now, but still not enough for "special" stuff).

For Bayo 2, this is another story (more complicated than we probably think, as we don't know any details on this contract), and was just an example of a game with similar sales.
But if you want "1st party only!" (didn't stop you in using Neptunia, a 3rd party game as an example to show why it'll get a special cover), Star Fox is doing about the same sales now and won't get any more support from Nintendo, you know, the publisher ready to put a special edition for nearly anything now.

Again, I can't wait for Gravity Rush 2 (one of my favourite Vita games), but it's a bit ridiculous to think that Sony will throw a lot of support behind it, even if it's just a cover plate. They've shown enough times in the past that for now, it isn't worth it for them to do this kind of thing.

I want to see:

-Resident Evil 7
-Gravity Rush 2
-Final Fantasy VI remake
-And finally (what I've been waiting years for) Devil May Cry 5

Square-Enix has something secret to show on September 19th. Please be excited!?

Thanks to Aibo (https://twitter.com/aibo_ac7/status/641101585968304128).

Came here to post, beat by a minute. Here's the text schedule: http://sep.jp.square-enix.com/tgs2015/

Oh, for anyone that usually uses the Gematsu live stream schedules for TGS, I've been working on ours over the past week or so and it's better than ever. =) I should have it up this week.

Edit: Also, promo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MfsX3SNeZM

Project Setsuna. That's what I feel the secret title is from Square. Game is supposed to release 2016 (apparently).

I'd also say Dragon Quest 11 because all we have is just off screen footage rather than a trailer but they did also say we're far away from that title still.

That or maybe something new.

3 out of those 4 are somewhat realistic. If not at TGS this year, then at least at some point in the next year or so.

FFVI remake is not. Maybe after FFVIIR

They've also said that it's a smaller project, so it's no going to have the same long development schedule as some of their AAA titles. Hopefully it and The World of FF are successful so that Square gets back to making more mid-tier titles to go along with their AAA stuff.

What're the chances SNK will show a teaser trailer for the next KoF game? They had to have a little made that they can show off...

So, is it realistic to expect a Dangan Ronpa 3 announcement during Sony's show? That's where DR: Another Episode was first revealed, right?

I remember Danganronpa 1 or 2 being shown at TGS 2013 or 2014.

(I know that's really not precise haha, but I'm 100% sure it was there)

Another Episode was also a TGS announcement. If it is a Vita game (as it most likely is) this would be the stage to do it on. If you are not planing a 3rd, why remake 1 and 2 and then follow up with a spin off, right?

I know they stated wait until Winter, but I really hope this secret presentation is for FFVIIR. I'm dying to know what its battle system going to be like.

Weren't they talking about still having to found how to prototype it just recently? I think it'll be a while before some combat footage...

While footage will be very nice, I just need a confirmation of whether the combat will be action or turn-based. Previous statements are all wishy washy.

I think it's likely, if I remember correctly the creator has been hinting about 3 for a while now.

Weren't they recently purchased by a Chinese company? Curious how the ownership transition's gonna affect their portfolio
