Anyone think we might see some cool limited edition PS4 unveiled here? I was hoping maybe Japan might get special console for Persona 5, like Vita got for P4D.
Any other likely candidates?
it seems like Gravity Rush 2 will be on PS4, but do people think it will be exclusive or on Vita as well?
While all signs point to be PS4 only. I'm secretly hoping for both PS4 and Vita.If they're moving it to the PS4, then i'd expect them to be pushing the game pretty hard technically, so it's likely to be exclusive. Toyama said that once we see it we'll understand why it's taken so long for them to show it again.

We finally get a Last Guardian announcement. It's been retooled for the PS4 and comes out 2015.
Seriously though, I mostly want to see some Japanese games (preferable JRPGs) on PS4. And maybe even Vita. Why the hell not? Other than that, Persona 5 and Danganronpa 3.
Dream announcement: Atlus walks on stage, says they want to talk about a sequel of their's years in the making starring a colorful cast of young protagonists and animals. The Persona audience loses their mind. It's finally here. And the trailer starts... And it's... SNOWBOARD KIDS 3.
And then, one more thing...
Jack Bros 2!
What people deserve is SSX. The bodies are ready. We finally get a Last Guardian announcement. It's been retooled for the PS4 and comes out 2015.

After playing 999, I realised PS4 needs more games like that.
No. I am aware of it though. I plan to download it for my phone when I have some time to check it out. VLR will come first though. I want to get through that series first.Have you played Danganronpa?

I honestly don't know what Snowboard Kids is. SSX is the only snowboarding game I know.
wat. We already got The Last Guardian re-announcement at E3.

Definitely. A game like that would have to improve its presentation a lot on a console. 999 is very barebones as it is.Ah ok, you should definitely check it out if you're ever looking at something to play.
To play a game like 999 on PS4 though, I'd need more English voice acting. Reading that much off my TV would do my eyes in.

EA has some real potentially good stuff in the pipeline. I think they'll be able to please fans a couple more times when it's all said and done. Garden Warfare is an EA game, and that's something really different and good.Oh how I wish they would. But it's EA. I remain ever doubtful.
Besides, they've already filled their "please fans"-quota with Mirror's Edge: Catalyst.
You could get voice acting, that's not a huge issue. When I think presentation issues, I think more in terms of how key sequences and scenes are presented. For those instances, you'd want something more polished, and possibly fully animated. Something alone these lines would be a vanity project mostly anyway, but I think this genre of games is pretty interesting. It's definitely not suited to most people though.yeah, but the games are probably too niche to put too much money into presentation though right? Even games like Persona 4 didn't get all lines voice acted.
You're not going to get anything of FFVIIR at TGS, except maybe an interview of Nomura/Kitase with a line or two about the game. I think the winter thing could, in a best case scenario, maybe show the intro of FFVII done in-engine in the quality they think will represent the final game. In the absolute best scenario, that could include the first fight against the soldiers at the train stop with whatever their current furthest-in-development prototype of the battle system or maybe a mock-up of what they are aiming for if they don't have anything that's polished enough to show, but that might be too much to hope.I know they stated wait until Winter, but I really hope this secret presentation is for FFVIIR. I'm dying to know what its battle system going to be like.

I'm looking forward to Mount Fuji! As for TGS, I hope Sony, Sega, and SE please some fans. If there was a game I'd specifically want, then that would be X-Men Legends 3. That tends to be the impossible dream I want at every, single event that ever happens. E3? TGS? The Football World Cup? Same old story.Yeah definitely. But actually, thinking about it, those types of games do seem to have become more popular over the past few years. Other than more Zero Escape games, what else do want/are you looking forward at TGS? I'm most eagerly awaiting more Gravity Rush news I guess, but there is a lot im interested in seeing.
So Sega's game is gonna be pretty big?I'm looking forward to Mount Fuji! As for TGS, I hope Sony, Sega, and SE please some fans. Somewhere out there, on Earth-162, Vernandez is enjoying X-Mon Tres: Legendia. And I hate the bastard for it.

Well, Sega is apparently leaving behind console development for PC only. That's what people say.So Sega's game is gonna be pretty big?
It's just not the same. MUA2 was really disappointing. I think I just prefer the X-Men in their own world, and their story is just more interesting to me. Could you imagine X-Men Legends 3 on PS4? Think about that. It would be glorious. We did get X-Men Legends 3:

and 4 as well:

Existing games would be ports naturally. I just think if a new endeavour was undertaken, then why not try for a little more?Regarding 999 kinda games on PS4, honestly it wouldn't bother me if they released them just how they are as digital only games.
They are pretty niche so even asking for adding voice acting might be too much.

Marvel need to cancel right now, and move ahead with X-Men Legends 3. This is our destiny. People don't even know they want this game, but if they ever saw it, they'd all be like, I really want this game and I want it now. Why can't anyone else except me see this? This truth.

Plus, I hate to be that guy, but I'd love for them to have the license to the WWE games, because Yukes is killing me slowly here. I mean, I'm not sure how much of a beating I can take from them at this rate, but I am giving up hope. And that's crazy, because I'M ALWAYS HYPE!

I know your game. You're pulling the same shit here that you did with The Last Guardian prior to E3, when you filled us all with doubt and despair as to whether it would turn up or not, and then it did! But I'm wise to your antics this time sonny, so I'm gonna expect a big SEGA blowout at TGS this month, with copious console games playable on the floor and megaton stage announcements galore. I'll get the last laugh this time. HA!

Do you think sales for games like Danganronpa or Zero Escape would be enough on the PS4 to justify the cost of a port?
WHAT?!Well Uchikoshi's next game is coming out on PS4
WHAT?!
Got a link for that?

I'd go for PS4/PC. I've started looking into it recently, and there are other visual novel adventure games on the PS4, or on the way. It's something that could definitely work.Do you think sales for games like Danganronpa or Zero Escape would be enough on the PS4 to justify the cost of a port?
I like how you're talking about TLG as if it's anything but smoke and mirrors. That game isn't coming to you until the PS6. Make peace with it now. I bet you're all hyped up now. Oh yeah, TLG at TGS. Both three letter words. Oh yeah, that's right. But it's dead. There is no TLG. There is nothing. I don't acknowledge its existence.I know your game. You're pulling the same shit here that you did with The Last Guardian prior to E3, when you filled us all with doubt and despair as to whether it would turn up or not, and then it did! I don't think it'd be worthwhile to add voice acting to existing games. It's unnecessary work. I'm referring to new games being made. If they were being made for the PS4, for example, then naturally they have to improve on the presentation a little. It can't be exactly like 999 since that's lacking on the presentation front in many ways.As a fan of these games I understand what you are saying and I would love for them to become something more than what they are right now so I agree with you.
However I think developers need to see how the games would preform on home consoles first before trying to expand them. I mean it might not be cost effective for devs to add voice acting and make them fully animated if the sales of those versions weren't good enough.

Although the anime was better than the premise makes it look, and was still fairly inline with the kind of thing you'd expect from him, so it might turn out decent, despite the fanservice.
Punch Line is getting a game?! How the hell did I miss THAT?!Punch Line.

Well I was talking about new games as well. I think they need to release a game similar to 999 (well, maybe with better presentation) to test the waters and then decide to expand them or keep them the way they are.I don't think it'd be worthwhile to add voice acting to existing games.
