Verendus, Is Deep Down dead ?
Or rather do you know if Panta Rhei is giving Capcom any trouble? I don't need to know about the games they are working on, I just wanna know if they are working on any with this engine and whether it's going smoothly or not.

I really hoped that Panta Rhei would be this gen's MT framework but the long absence of Deep Down and SFV being on UE4 have me worried.

PSX seems more likely considering GT7 might be a November/December 2016 release, so they'd probably want to start promoting the game a year prior to release at most. And they'd want to have something really huge at PSX, which GT7 would be. TGS might be better for the first Gravity Rush 2 showing & maybe a possible JRPG announcement.

To me, if GT7 does not show up at TGS, it seems more likely to be at PGW as the series does extremely well in the European market.

The big (new reveal) game at PSX is likely going be God of War 4.

They trademarked Maximum Impact last year right? And there were reports of them working on a 3D game. I know MI isn't really popular but i wouldnt mind SNK announcing MI3, just throw all the new MI characters down a volcano and replace them with Shermie/Rick whoever.

That's KOFXIV, the mainline series is going 2.5D.

@ PSX

Revealing both GT7 & GOW 4/Mythology Reboot at PSX would make it a pretty memorable event. I guess it could be at PGW, though you'd think they would focus on European made games there as well as some of the games close to release.

For Sony, I'm predicting...

TGS
Gravity Rush 2 (& 1 PS4 version)
Hot Shot Golf/Everybody's Golf PS4
The Last Guardian
Bloodborne DLC reveal
Possible new big internally developed 1st party announcement (JRPG? some kind of action adventure?)
Maybe a new collaboration like Bloodborne (Level-5 JRPG?)
+ some smaller & already announced titles

PGW
Horizon
Dreams proper reveal
Wild proper reveal
Rime
Quantic Dream's announcement
+ smaller titles like Alienation etc.
+ some non-European games like Uncharted that are getting pretty close to release

PSX
GT7
GOW4
FFVII Remake new title reveal, possible first footage
Some big 3rd party announcement like last year
+ lots of stuff from already announced games

Maybe they coded Pantha Rhei engine extra for TPS Games

I know there have been a lot of DMC5 rumours, but have there been any whispers of RE7?
We do know that development of RE7 began right after RE6 was finished, so unless something has gone terribly wrong with the project, it should start to be in a shape where it can be announced. It's been 3 years since RE6. I mean, Capcom has done almost nothing this gen, other than a remaster & 2 cross-gen titles. Surely something must be getting so close to release that a TGS announcement is warranted?

RE7 is guaranteed to be pretty far in development, RE is Capcom's best selling IP.

Curious to see if they will go all in with a full on new gen game or if it will be cross gen ala MGSV.

It's wouldn't be fair to announce it before DMC5 tho. it's been like 7 years since DMC4? at the very least they should announce both.

It is not going to be cross gen. The game will probably launch in the second semester of 2016, PS3 will be dead even in Japan by then.

Ah really? I didn't know that. In that case it should be at least approaching reveal stage. Unless it's having Deep Down like issues.

Well in addition to being their best selling series, next year is also the series' 20th anniversary so either way it will have priority over DMC5.

Hopefully!

Why would EA or Ubi hold a Japanese conference?

Those companies show up at Sony's conference. Nobody in Japan is gonna sit through yet another Destiny trailer in an Activision conference, but people would show up for Sony's conference and get tortured by Destiny there in between all the good announcements.
Thanks guys, it's logical lol. I've never been so much up to-date with the TGS so I didn't know what to expect, I'll make sure to watch Sony's conference.

Well there had been no rumors for both games, DMC5 had a lot of signs rather than rumors while RE7 has nothing.

More hints than rumours in DMC5's case, yes.

RE7 has been listed on résumés. It's also a fact that for the last 19 years Capcom has begun production of the next main Resident Evil as soon as the last one wraps up, so if they're following this plan (and they will be, since RE6 was a mega sales success regardless of divisive reception) then Resident Evil 7 will have been in production since late 2012.

Possible name for Vanillaware's new game

Looking at the source code, you see the title “十三機兵防衛圏” or Thirteen Mecha-Soldier Defense Zone. While it might not ring a bell right away, Vanillaware posted a Happy New Year’s card for fans a couple years ago, which had the same title on the middle of the artwork, as shown above.

And possibly the console game Sega's president was referring to

Again, keep in mind that it might not even be the name of the title, as it hasn’t been officially announced. Game Jouhou also reports that a new title called Lexus for PS4 and PS3 has also been found in the source codes for Sega’s TGS 2015 page.

This TGS seems like it's shaping up to be something special.

Lexus, eh? Well, sure they have an Phantasy Star Online and Hatsune Miku title in the works for PlayStation 4. But, a whole new intellectual property from SEGA? Hmm, I'll might be interested once they got into the details. But, there has to be something very special, please SEGA? Just one more title...

I can't believe it's only a week left. I really hope for Gravity Daze for PS4 and whatever it's sequel is.

More Last guardian news, maybe another JRPG by Sony hopefully and more mech games.

Star Ocean 5 promo art looks really good in my opinion. Actually hope they use that as cover art or something.
Can't wait for TGS!

There's a game on the way by the creators of Yakuza. Virtua Fighter 6 might also be shown if it's still in development (and I don't see why it wouldn't be since Sega is focused on turning things around at the moment).

I just realized that we are now within a week of TGS starting, next week is gonna be interesting to see what megatons and surprise announcements will come from it.

Not sure if this is going to be announced at TGS, but I saw an article about a patent filed by Square-Enix.

The name seems to be "Grim Notes". Wondering what this is.
Not sure if a thread has been made about this and also wasn't sure if it was worth creating a new thread. So I'm just posting it here.

Reading off Wikipedia , Ape Escape had 14 games in 11 years. The franchise probably needed a break, which explains why there hasn't been a game since 2010.

Now would be a great time for a new game, it would be awesome if it happens.
