Congrats to him, about time someone not Eminem or 50cent on the Aftermath label would finally go plat.

Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d city continues to rack up the accolades. After entering the charts at No. 2 almost 10 months ago to the day, the Black Hippy’s universally-acclaimed major label debut has now been certified platinum. The album sold 9k copies this week — a 22% increase on last week, which we can probably credit to the mania surrounding his “Control” verse — which pushed it past the 1 million mark. Congratulations to Kendrick and the whole TDE family!

Was listening to Section.80 today. Both it and GKMC are awesome albums. King Kendrick Lamar, as said before!
