Oh?
Anyway, what's done is done.
There is NO FUCKING SPOILER in the title. It's not about being inconsiderate, it's about having to deal with people who I honestly am starting to think are just insane. The definition of a spoiler can now be -anything- at all. It's nonsensical. This isn't people being inconsiderate, this is spoiler culture trying to turn any normal discussion and debate into accusations of people ruining something for others when they're not.
And I bet Ultron is in the upcoming Avengers movie right?
And that's why spoiler culture is stupid.
I don't think you'll get far with that line of thought here. This is a discussion forum, and if any piece of information is enough to possibly ruin a piece of creative work for you, then it's probably best to avoid places like this.Like I said, spoilers can be different things for different people. Plot elements can range from characters, to dialogue, to jokes.. even pieces of music! Anything can be a considered a spoiler because having knowledge of that thing can spoil the experience.
Oh? Anyway, what's done is done.
As someone who's seen the movie I quite liked his performance. Spoiling this just for the super sensitive people, but it doesn't contain any plot details, just discussions of his delivery
So I was expecting him to be this big booming, dramatic figure, and while he's definitely big the actual vibe I got off of the performance was, weirdly enough, closer to Jeff Bridges in Tron Legacy. It threw me for a loop but I think I actually like it
Ugh. Get over yourself. nobody here is concerned with any sort of spoiler culture. Is it not possible to just be courteous to others? Instead of trying to quantify the countless people who don't like spoilers into a "culture", just realize it's a natural human desire to want to see things for yourself the first time around.
No, that's fucking bullshit Sculli.
They have officially announced the character is in the movie -multiple- times, not just at Comic-Con. The only reason they didn't put him in a trailer is because they wanted fans to see him in the theater. The fact that a collection of jackasses didn't notice/care about a press release is not GAF's concern, or the OPs.
Ya'll are this close to me just dropping in spoilers for the entire movie in here, that way you guys have something to actually complain about
You not knowing something doesn't make it a spoiler.
For those worried about being spoiled, don't worry. It's one of the worst parts of the movie.

The fact that a collection of jackasses
"FIRST LOOK AT BATISTA AS DRAX" HEY put that in spoilers bro I don't watch tv, I didn't want to know.
Looks like a power rangers villian. Like a pallette swap of Lord Zedd or something. Looks worse than the green goblin in the OG spider man movie.
This would have been a better approach for the topic title IMO. "First look at Josh Brolin as Thanos" sounds less like a spoiler for people who aren't following Marvel's advertising.
He was played by this guy, Damion Poitier.

So you're saying Rita Repulsa will be in Age of Ultron?

Don't you guys see what you're doing to duckroll? Do you want him to just explode in a puff of feathers?!
Not when any conceivable thing can be counted as a spoiler, when that's clear twisting of the meaning of the word.
If you're that concerned about spoilers then it's your own prerogative to avoid said spoilers and not for the world to babysit you from them.
^Someone who follows the JoJo Part 3 anime, for example, would not know that, but it is treated as a spoiler.JoJo Part 3 features a dog as an ally of the protagonists
I'm only slightly bothered by having seen this thread title, since I wanted to be surprised that Thanos shows up, especially since I didn't expect him to show up in the movie in the first place despite this being set in space/Cosmic Marvel setting. It's mostly be 'blacking out' what character could appear in it so when they do appear it would be something I would've been pleased to discover through watching the movie itself.
If they announced that JoJo "spoiler" in a promotional material before the anime came out I would not consider it a spoiler, same deal here with Thanos.
If anything it sounds like a "spoiler culture" belongs to people like you; those who are obsessed with getting away with spoiling shit that's questionably not spoilers. Believe it or not it's actually easier for douchebags not to spoil things than it is for those who don't want things spoiled to avoid the internet.
Also since I have no idea what JoJo is beyond a Bizarre Adventure then that spoiler isn't a spoiler at all... just for example.

One interesting question is whether - in retrospect, people would consider some of the big Prometheus trailer reveals being put in topic titles as spoilers?

Characters announced in press releases are unquestionably not spoilers.
And where should us douchebags go to discuss something like this? A super secret forum so that you may go about unspoiled? Or is Brian Williams a douchebag too if he reports it on TV?
I'm watching season 1 of JoJo now, decided to test your theory and highlight that "spoiler"... nope, not a spoiler. Doesn't alter my enjoyment at all and doesn't give away any major plot points or ruin any suspense for me.^Someone who follows the JoJo Part 3 anime, for example, would not know that, but it is treated as a spoiler.JoJo Part 3 features a dog as an ally of the protagonists

Does anyone know if it's CG + mocap or practical effects/makeup?
I'm guessing it'll either shape change to fit, or it will dematerialize into a beam of energy filling up one of the gem spots on the gauntlet.
