I wasn't to wild about The Hurt Locker but I'm glad to see a female director take home the award. Although I think Strange Days is still her best film by far :D
huh? Has this happened already?

IB got robbed.
I hate when the mini famous movie of the year get all the things, even when they are not deserved.
Come on, its a good movie but the tech oscars? Go and fuck yourself.
The Slumdog Millionare repeats. :(

I really hope Bridges drops a Lebowski reference in his speech.

It can be simple - the parlance of our times, hasn't that occurred to you, the dude abides, whatever. But he has to do it.

Considering how a ton of other houses were called in to help finish the film? ;P
Actually, I am only aware of WETA and ILM involved with Avatar, but I won't be surprised if more studios were involved. VFX groups are calling for more recognition by the public though but this speech was a bit underwhelming for that.

Can You Imagine What SureAI Is Going To Do With Garfield?
For someone going through serious depression, I gotta thank GAF again for giving me some serious laughs. The Keanu "leveling up" and Ebert twitter post are hilarious!

The Academy and their crappy topical political statements they make each year. Can't wait to see a movie about the Toyota recall win Best Picture next year. :lol

Between A Prophet and White Ribbon, both were amazing. The White Ribbon should have definitely won for Cinematography, was beautifully shot.
