i dont understand, are they giving out the majority of the awards before the show? Doesn't start for another 25 minutes no?

They gave out 3/4 of the awards during the pre-ceremony, but saved their important categories for the main show.

Yes.

The main show doesn't start for another 20 Mins.

They have like 80 categories which is waaay to many for TV especially when a good chunk of the show is the live performances so yes the bulk of them are not aired on TV.

Damn, I would think that awards like Best Pop Vocal album and Best Rock album would make it to the main show
