D'Angelo won best R&B song and best R&B album! I'm so happy for him and the entire Black Messiah team. Brilliant record and artist who absolutely deserves the recognition.

Straight up had no idea this guy was still releasing stuff.
It was an album nearly 15 years in the making. The fact that it came out at all was a minor miracle and the fact that it turned out so well felt like a storybook ending and a new beginning for a guy that was clearly lost for a while.
