Did either of you listen to the Chicago sports radio station yesterday? 790AM I think...right? The radio guys here had a simulcast with Jesse something in Chicago on "The Fan 790?" (someone correct me if I'm way off, I'm just throwing something out there). It was hilarious hearing the Cubs callers call in. :lol
Then Jesse the radio guy goes
"HEY _____ YOU'RE ON THE AIR"
"Hey Jesse, I used to live in Houston and I...."
"I'm sorry"
"....I said I used to live in Houston"
"No, I'm sorry you lived in Houston"
:lol
It was pretty hilarious both ways though...:lol
Our guys were talking about how the Cubs better beat the Astros, cause Houston will own their ass in everything else. Texans > Bears, Rockets > Bulls....as a matter of fact, Rockets raped the Bulls yesterday with the Deke trade. :lol
Oh man, I wish I was home to record that segment.
Everett's cast off
Astros shortstop Adam Everett, who has been out since breaking a bone in his wrist Aug. 6, had his cast removed Wednesday and was excited to be able to travel with the team for the first time since being injured.
"It's a huge step, not only physically but mentally as well," Everett said. "I finally get to travel with the team, and it's nice to feel like I'm a part of it."
Everett will continue to wear a plastic brace that he can remove during rehab, which will intensify now that he's cast-free. He hopes to be able to return by the end of the month.

Matrix said:It ends on a dominating game by PerezLets hope Garder plays our starters the 2nd game,we cant afford a 2 game losing streak...plus we face a righty so Beltran and Berkman can hit from the left side with powerful revenge!

Desperado said::lol Marlins ended the Mets losing streak.
Scoobert said:6 out of 7 against the Mets, not bad. Marlins winning streak was 9 games, tied for most in franchise history. Not bad indeed. But Marlins still have fewer losses than the Astros.
The real challenge is against the Cubs tomorrow. Who ever wins that series is a contender.
