This single disc release will include all 6 episodes (132 mins) for $29.98. The A/V specs include an Anamorphic Widescreen (1.78:1) transfer, and a Dolby Digital 2.0 stereo mix (English/Spanish subtitles). Extras include deleted scenes, outtakes and more.

MSRP is always way higher than these things actually get sold for. I can almost guarantee you'll be able to catch it for $20 in a first-week sale.

That said, six episodes is still not very much. They really ought to have waited and just released a Season 1 & 2 disc, but I guess they are hoping that this set will bring some attention to the show before the next season starts. I'm just glad that the show is coming back next September.....anyone know how many episodes have been ordered?

Not only that, but they are apparently doing what Fox does with 24 and are just throwing the DVD profits right back into the show.

the MSRP for pretty much ANY dvd movie is $29.99 (check the press release in the SIn City DVD thread), so, like others have mentioned, you will likely be able to get this for $15-20 the day it comes out at the bigger chains like Best Buy.

edit: Now that i think about it, where the fuck is the Arrested Development Season 2 dvd? Has it even been officially announced?
