It is raining here rn, actually. I used to work down the road from Paisley Park. My mom raised me on Prince.

I saw Prince perform in the o2 arena in London on Aug 2007 for the 3121 tour. It was really one of the best nights ever. Never seen someone work the crowd up like Prince did and more than just a great singer/songwriter/producer/guitarist/bassist/drummer/pianist he proved to me how electrifying he was as a performer and an entertainer.

It's sad, people now will only really appreciate Prince's genius and the mark he left on the music industry after his death, when we should have been appreciating it while he was still around. Safe to say there will never ever be anyone in the industry who can match Prince's talent or output. Of all the celebrities who have died, in my lifetime, this one has really hit me the hardest as I lost one of my favourites.
