The waterless car wash is amazing. It's a spray which is fantastic for getting rid of dust, light road dirt/dust, and light rain dirt. The dirtier your car is, the more I suggest spraying and the more microfiber cloths I suggest using to wipe dirt off and buff out spray residue with. I use their waxes and their polishers too. The MF towels are fantastic, much better than the cheap garbage they sell at regular stores.
Nice, yeah your paint looks like a mirror in those pics. I'll have to try that. I have used Zanio (
http://www.zainostore.com/) products forever, but always willing to try out new stuff.
Drive channel on Youtube has a series called Drive Clean this season that goes into thorough detail about using clay bar, washing, waxing, etc. It is a really informative series.
Clay bars are no joke. I clayed my 944 Turbo and the difference it made in the smoothness of the paint was startling.
Never heard of it, I will have to check it out. I have really gotten into detailing over the past couple of years. My current method if anyone is interested if I am detailing a car for the first time is...
1. Wash the car with Dawn dish soap to remove any wax already on the car. Don't make a habit of washing your car with Dawn, this is ONLY to remove wax. I am a fan of the two bucket system, one for the wheels and one for the car. I buy cheap car wash from walmart to clean my wheels.
2. Hand Dry using only 100% cotton towels. Towels not made in USA are usually not 100% cotton. A lot of hard core detailers will tell you microfiber towels scratch paint, although I have never personally had a problem with microfiber.
3. Clay the car, I use a car wash mixed with water with the clay bar. You can use a spray detailer here as well.
4. This step is only if necessary and could damage your car if not done properly. If you want to remove swirls/scratches. I use a potor cable and a paint cleaner, using a cheap polish here will never work, (again I use Zanio Z-PC). Depending on how deep the scratch or swirl is the more aggressive pad your going to use on your portor cable, I use this quick guide found here

5. Remove any residue from your paint cleaner using a detailer spray, then apply the first coat of wax. I use Zanio number 5 here. A good wax will NEVER have to be removed using a orbital buffer, wax does not clean your paint, it only hides imperfections. Let dry then remove by hand with only 100% cotton towels.
6. Apply second coat of wax, I use Zanio number 2. Same application process as before. You can apply as many coats of wax here as you feel necessary. Finish off with a spray detailer to remove any residual wax.
