One aspect of Gaf I have never been able to relate to is the dislike for Gamestop.
Other than the abysmal trade-in value, all of my gamestop experiences have been pleasant since the first time I stepped in one a few years ago.
For example:
In 2011, when I was headed to get my first 3ds game, Ocarina of Time, I noticed that all of my local stores were out of the game. So I decided to head into a certain GameStop, which I had never been to before. The employee in there said that there were no more available unless one had a preorder. However, he, very kindly, sold me one of the preorder ones and just said he would head over to a gamestop that had one in stock and pick it up.
Today when I went to trade in my 3ds after transferring my New 3ds, the employee allowed for me to get in on the 3ds deal both a day late as well as me having already paid off the New 3ds and went about my way not expecting it.
Each time I've been in there, no game has ever been pushed on me, or magazine, or sale offer, just straight-forward, undemanding business. As well, they have made some apt recommendations for me, such as getting Hotel Dusk.
Others experiences are always legitimate, but I find Gamestop a nice place. Anyways, I hope Majora's Mask 3D is good, because I have never played it before.
