While I'm not convinced of its viability as a mass market product, I do believe it's 100% the real deal. I own an Oculus Rift DK2 and VR is definitely deserving of the hype. I just wish I didn't suffer so badly from motion sickess so I can enjoy it without wanting to die

Very curious about it mostly due to the fact that i can't imagine how it is without trying it myself. I do hope it blows up in the mass market and could if done right so that they release new experiences i could try that ain't horror. Not about that life. Just hope it doesn't induce the motion sickness here aswell.

i don't see how VR can make it when 3D failed. the difference between 3D and VR was people were upgrading TVs at a time when so many TV models ahd 3D built in as it was a relatively cheap feature for manufacturers to add to a TV and relatively cheap for video content producers and game makers to add t their products while VR is just an expensive quagmire.

Indeed. Level of motion sickness is really low and don't even got it if counting sea,car or videogames so got lucky there it seems.

Seems like the perfect device to put demo stations everywhere. Sure there will be a killer app that puts it on the map and VR is one of those things people know of without really knowing.

Really depends on what devs do with it plus the price.
You are not gonna sell more VR devices meant for the PS4 than the PS4 itself.
The Mopheus probably gonna be too focused on PS4 with that unless they added PC support now.
On the PC side things could look up. The dev kit users have good impressions mostly.
And the opportunity for more people to do stuff is open since PC. Then mostly falls down to the price and if people who don't know if they need it (on account of not being able to see why) getting it.
