Trust. It sucks. I'm 5'7 which is short for a black man. It sucked all the way until it didn't. You just gotta wait 'em out. Some where between their height requirements diving as fear sets in and your own confidence going up is the dating sweet spot.

You know, I would get angry about the whole "don't date short guys" thing, but I'm over six feet and I personally don't like dating or dancing with short girls.

I've never been cool with my height, but thats a personal thing. Im tall enough so that its never really a problem to most girls (unless shes seriously tripping) but living in NYC has me feeling like a smurf
