Not restraint, just as little work as possible. Not to mention, to get the proper emotional impact of the moment, you'd need to let the player play as Zack for a while. That's a LOT of additional content for a moment that's ultimately not that important to (the individual game) FF7.

I'm exciting for it. But to be for real, like I am way more excited for FFXV and KH3 to be honest. Like dude posted the comparison shots between older kh's and 3, and got me rehyped.

Basically. GAF would have you thinking that they're above Tumblr's toxic SJW ways, but the reality is that it's just a fucking blog site that happens to get a lot of traffic. Just as many diet racists on there as there are here, which is why I always think it's hilarious when people try and frame Tumblr as the root of all evil internet witch hunts and whatnot.

Reddit on the surface isn't as bad as tumblr on the surface. Don't get me wrong, the fucking stupid of reddit is much worse than tumblr and tumblr is far more likely to drag someone if they are *really* fucking up, but it much easier to have an actual converstation about something real on reddit than tumblr. Much easy to find like minded individuals on reddit as well.
Redditors get pissy much faster that tumblrettes though. Probably can thank gender politics for that.

You sure? In terms of surface-shit to delve-shit ratio, I'd probably rank it:
GAF (innocuous surface, shitposters are constantly getting banned, communities are gud)
Tumblr (innocuous [albeit dorky] surface, handful of vocal minorities [e.g. finn x poe firestorm] you can choose to listen to, bunch of great blogs off the beaten path)
Reddit = Imgur (front page usually has a handful of diet racist / sexist / etc. stuff to begin with, handful of cool secret agents / "my dad actually worked at nintendo" posters you can choose to listen to, but the majority is 99% bitching about things that are different and scary)

You can avoid bullshit on Reddit a lot easier than on tumblr. Someone might just wake up and lose their goddamn mind on tumblr. Seen it happen before.

I feel like you have to sort of paper-trail your way into insanity on tumblr and it's easy enough to avoid afterwards, whereas on reddit if a woman so much as feels good about herself in the wrong direction it rocks the entire ecosystem, rather than just the hate subreddits.

I'm just glad that I only stick to the fan-art and porn side of tumblr to not see these crazy things.
In that way, reddit isn't unlike GAF: you can just look at some posts about know before you get started that it won't go well. I dunno. Reddit tends to piss me off a lot less than tumblr, but that certainly has more to do with the way I interact with the sites.
Disqus is subtly trying to become a social network. They have a backend that's pretty close to the dashboard section of tumblr.

You can avoid Reddit most bullshit if you stay away from the the defaults and the larger subs, or at least their comments. I've actually found it's the exact opposite with Tumblr, the insanity tends to congregate in smaller areas while the majority is usually sane.

Somewhere along the line men fostered an environment where a young man idolizes fictional characters to the extent he dresses like them. Cleveland isn't exactly a welcoming or warm place that fosters such an outlook on life. It would be one thing if this was a costume like everyone else but he's walking outside like this. We've lost all the recipes.
