So it's the anniversary of Biggies death. 19 damn years.

I should post this in the HipHop gaf but I think it's still significant to be here.

I remember when I learned about his death on the news shortly after new york under cover went off. I was in 3rd or 4th grade and my dad was trying to teach me and show me how to do long division. lol

I'M FUCKING FREEZING!!!!!!

Can't believe it's march and is fucking freezing this bad.

Grab a wool blanket, get you some exquisite organic Tequila, grab a hair dryer, and curl up in your bed watching some Netflix. I could use heat normally but went back to my old school days of heating the house with an oven. Shout out to the manufacturer of my electric stove.

I'm going to close early, there's no costumers anyway for the damn weather anyway.

Going to my ama house to leech some coffee or chocolate.

From what I remember, I was at my cousins' house in one of their bedrooms when my brother came in with the news and that's about it. I still need to get around to listening to his whole albums. I'm a bit embarrassed that I still haven't.

It really depends of the country. Here we can do that straight from the PC without much hurdles.

state too.

iirc after Illinois passed a law mainly targeting the difficulty in quitting th billing in MMOs a few years back, they changed it so that you could do that stuff only if your state was Illinois so people in the US would change their address to somewhere in Chicago just to be able to remove it.

Die hard with a vengeance is like neck and neck with die hard 1.
There was a thread of people arguing 2 was their favorite.

No no no

Yeah, I'm embarrassed you haven't, as well.

Relationships are too much drama forever alone is looking mighty appealing.

Nah. Just gotta find that partner who compliments you and makes you a better person. Most folks don't come across that immediately, some never. You have to be open to surprising yourself, you never know what grace a person can hold until you get to know them.

It's really weird for me because I'm like, super cynical most times and I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop and it, well, doesn't. I actually can say I think things are going to okay for me and not feel like I'm lying.
It's all you Demi. Just stay positive and confident in yourself. Make your own luck.Even if your nervous inside never show it. Go in there like you already got the job.
For what it's worth I know you got it!
CONGRATS!!!

I remember a time when that movie was on TV every other month..shit was crazy.

It's crazy how much TV has changed. They were starving for programming 20 years ago. There was the Sunday movie of the week on most channels in the afternoon, you could still catch classics like I Love Lucy, The Honeymooners, All in The Family, OG Star Trek on regular TV.

I feel bad for younger people because they don't have the older stuff basically placed in front of them. I basically got to watch TV from all eras growing up.

I remember the time when the Jacksons: An American Dream was on VH1 every month.

I still die of laughter when Mike gets burned and rolls down the steps.

I'm actually rewatching All In The Family now. My all time favorite show. Actually get a kick out of seeing the same ass conversations still going on to this day, and just how many similar options, good and bad, show up in threads. You're correct. It sucks for most kids.

My kids loved watching stuff that I watched myself growing up, so they've had a lot of exposure. My son mainly listened to older music that I do rather than the mainstream shit..
