Indeed. I voted for Sanders in IL because I desired some semblance of a race to continue, even if Clinton, in truth, has been the nominee since the gap went over 60-70 delegates or so. But it appears not only is he going to continue, his supporters (of those detached from the reality of matters) have only become more fervent. It's unsettling.

Ahh well, I'm fully in support of Clinton now (especially after such large wins against somewhat unfavorable polling), so it becomes a guessing game as to what Sanders does and when he drops out. I hope he eases up and focuses on investing money into making the change he wants rather than squandering it on useless campaigning in states.

At least I might say my first vote was for a socialist. How often does that happen in America?

I'm actually interested in his post candidacy game. Is the movement about him or everyone? Will he try and have some influence and help down ticket elections or will he go back to being an independent senator who attacks the left? Was he only interested in the democratic machine for selfish reasons or does he truly want change? I guess we'll see over the next 12 months.

Sanders gives zero fucks about the downticket or democratic party. They are just the platform he uses

I'm glad he's gotten as far as he has honestly. The momvent is definitely bigger than Bernie. If you had told me that a democratic socialist would make these sort of in roads 8 years ago I would have scoffed. Though when your competition is Clinton and the GOP which is still imploding, I guess you strike while the irons hot. Bernie's a real one, but he wasn't gonna win. I like the message though, this country is right of center and needs a little shove to the left even if it's a smidgen.

I am pretty easy on everything, unless shit actively offends me I usually can find some enjoyment out of it. I find myself participating less and less in OT threads for movies and shows.

Watching The Dark Knight Rises again and the fact the first thing Selina does in Rises is rob and insult a crippled man automatically set me against the character for the rest of the movie.

It is. At first I felt it was a commendable effort in emulating the old Harvest Moons. I'm in Winter of Year 1 and now I think it's objectively better than the old Harvest Moons due to the amount of stuff in the game, stats, and crafting.

Also - as someone who has to be at work by 930 AM and lifts weights after work, Valley is killing me slowly.

So honestly a nuke in a major American city is bad, but from the size of the blast it wouldn't have been nearly the disaster they make it out to be. A bunch of people would've died and huge property damage no doubt but it wouldn't destroy Gotham.
