Im not saying i have a pornhub account but thats my opinion.
There is definitely a group of people who love buying discs. Disc pricing is still a little wonky but its much better than it was two years ago.

Pretty much this.
Finding decent pricing for disks isn't hard. But I think it's is as simple as some people like to shop, and others don't. Disks have almost every advantage including quality and being able to be copied digitally, yet people talk themselves out of the superior product all of the time. The only downside is having to look for it, and potentially interacting with a transaction system that might have decision making involved.

I don't disagree. Many people can't even tell the difference between streaming and disc quality, even if they had the equipment to show really show off the content. You add the convenience factor of streaming with decent pricing (except for that OnDemand shit, that pricing is 1999 Blockbuster level) and you have less incentive to buy discs.
Not a big enough group to drive any type of product features, those that want 4k discs will probably buy a high end player for them

Probably, yeah. I think we are used to Sony driving in new or upgraded formats with their Playstations that it seems weird that they aren't doing it this time. Plus I don't think some people commenting in that thread can actually afford a new console and a high end player.
I know too many like that. When I wrote consumer loans I would look at people's credit reports and wonder how they manage to live each day with little cash flow. They have that nice big house, fancy car(s) and high salary, but very little in savings. So much so that if they were to lose their job, they would be insolvent within the month. Crazy how debt rules our society.

Well, for starters, I never knew this was a large issue at all. Never heard of football hooligans, and I sure as hell didn't assume it was a whole, organized crime sort of deal, either. Crazy.

Made it the entire Summer without hearing Will Smith's "Summertime" once. Not at BBQs, not at Block Parties, not on the Radio, not even during Fox29 morning news when they play music before & after commercial breaks. It almost as if Philly as a whole made a decision not to play the song.

Seems there's a fair few who think Hooliganism isn't that big a deal in the grand scheme, looking at the comments. Barely any love for the guy who went undercover, either. Like a kid who's had their toy taken away, that's what I'd compare some of these to.
On an overall, this was enlightening. It's like a cultish group, and they start rather young. Their methods for avoiding CCTV are poor (hoods, really?) but they have that above the law complex and the chaos around it all hides them well enough. Thanks for linking. ^^
