Whenever I get to speak Spanish with someone out of a language barrier (I like Salvadoran food and the best places are family restaurants with the older members being more comfortable talking in Spanish) I get asked I'm Dominican. I'm just Black.
But my girl is Dominican and most people can't tell. They knows she's something and they guess "mixed" like that offers any descriptiors.
