I don't think the game will be DMC2 shit like everyone on gaf is hoping for, but I don't think it will be DMC1/3 great either. Probably around the level of DMC4. The lack of lock on really hurt the demo. Not to mention the level of voice acting is so bad, it's almost hilarious.

That seems to be the consensus of people in the thread. Not 9/10 good, not 5/10, a solid 7-8/10 action game. V_Arnold said that clicking in the left stick actually helps the manual lock-on, so we'll work around it

Meh. I'm sure it's going to be one of the better action games to exist this gen, but that demo pretty much cemented that it's not going to hold a candle to 1, 3, or 4. It's shameful really.

I'm replaying 3 right now, using RG. Parrying fools is where it's at.
The level design is ass though. Seriously. I thought it was bad back when it came out, but yeesh. Also, those archers and the ghost things are no fun to fight.
