All this Nick Cannon talk made me remember when he thought he had enough clout to ruin Eminem's career.
Apparently only Em could do that. :/

New season of Wild n' Out should be dope.
If they get Katt back on the show I will be in disbelief.

Those eyes stole my heart.
Well I have the worst goddamn headache so I popped a toradol and hopefully this shit will work. So damn bored I'm watching A wrinkle in time on Netflix.
And you cats got me interested in listening to both Yeezus and Jay Z. Do you think that because those cats have decided to fuck traditional and just do their own thing to differentiate themselves from the cookie cutter rinse repeat shit they call music nowadays?

She's stunning for real
So I just saw a commercial on nickelodeon about this sitcom where a white chick and her daughters move into this house that's haunted by three ghosts...who are a black father and his two sons.
Note, I'm not sharing because "outraged" or anything, but because I just found it hilarious. Like, the visual of these three magic negroes (they have ghost magic) just hanging out with these white women. The chicks open the door and these negroes are just floating.
It looked like a very blah sitcom, but the racial connotations just made me laugh. I don't know; I think I'm going crazy. lol

So after finding a couple of videos on Youtube that claimed to be DBZ: Battle of the Gods but clearly weren't, I got to thinking. Both of these videos disabled comments and ratings.
If they got advertisement on their video, for say, $2.50 per 1000 views, they could have averaged out $1,125 (450,000~ views). Unless I'm missing something pretty big... it seems like a pretty brilliant scheme. Moreso if you're the guy who re-uploads whatever the current internet fad is.
I actually discussed this at length on the last Youtube thread in gaming side.
I used to be really into the Youtube thing before i got my current job, my channel was partnered with Machinima.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, that number is sort of the average for CPM numbers. Some networks pay more than that, some way less. Some are fixed rate and others are variable. The one constant being that all of them work on the basis of paying only on ad supported views. So if a video gets 1000 views at a $2.50 CPM, and 250 of those views came from a PC running ad block (or from a mobile client that doesn't serve ads), then the uploader won't get paid on that video, despite hitting 1000 views.
To consistently get paid, you'd need a decent sized, and loyal audience, who watch your videos from PC, and don't use ad block, so as to offset the lost earnings from non ad supported views. There's lots of other stuff as well, but that's the crux of it mainly.
Just start a channel uploading whatever you like. Usually the benchmark is 1000 subcribers or 1000+ views on average per video before most networks (like Machinima, TGN, TGS, Yeousch, Maker, etc) will seek you out. Or you could approach them (they tend to have application links). I'll dig some out when i get home and off my phone.
Its mostly about building up an audience. I used to upload tips and tricks for Assassin's Creed multiplayer. Hardly anyone was doing it at the time and it was a pretty niche community. I extended that to podcasts and montages and historical stuff based in AC.
General rule is, if you upload regularly enough, word will spread and you'll (usually) gain more subs and views.
I saw that too. Ghost dad BBC.So I just saw a commercial on nickelodeon about this sitcom where a white chick and her daughters move into this house that's haunted by three ghosts...who are a black father and his two sons.

Alright; cool. I'll have to think of something that plays to my strengths...
If Pewdiepie can race to 1 million+ subs just by recording himself screaming like a mental patient while playing scary games, i'm sure you'll have no trouble.

And to be fair, I imagine that a lot of people are thoroughly amused by people being ridiculous on the net.
