The true "Gateway Negro" is/was Pam Grier. Even though she's a little of everything. But god damn.
I have a question. Where I live people think that the mere thought of different human races is pretty offensive and well, racist. Personally I think categorizing people in different races is highly problematic cause it leads to racism. When I hear the word race I have immediately a picture of Hitler in my head.
Would you guys prefer it that way or are you happy with how race is defined in the US?
as an 80's baby I grew up on blaxploitation Pam greir, damn she was bad
The problem with Halle was...she couldn't do it. She just couldn't do it.
Where they at is what I usually say
Freckles and pale skin is #1-5 on the list of best things don't hate
No such thing as too many freckles
First full day in Portland complete. Anxiety is in overdrive but I'll deal with it. In kind of a haze/autopilot mentally, happened when I moved to Vancouver for the first few days for a bit too.
Plusses definitely so far over Nebraska:
- Much more food variety in one spot. Omaha tends to clump together so next to my place was about 100 mexican food places.. if you want something else, have to trek across the city.
- Public transit seems a lot better, in layout. Haven't used it yet. But I'm still planning on getting a car.
- Actual cultural interaction. Omaha is segregated to fuck.
Minuses:
- Some motherfucker was playing appregios and scales on a keyboard outside for like 5 hours straight. I think that was my introduction to Portland.jpg

If we're going by decades, then it'd most def be Pam in the 70s, but for me, it'd be Vanity in the 80s.
This all makes sense but it's so weird for me. I'm Italian which makes me white. My best friend is from Lebanon which makes him brown I guess. Ignoring that my skin, hair and eyes are darker as his I refuse to see us a different "races". I just can't. Maybe I'm guilty of using it interchangeably with species and that's why can't do it."Race" is a human construct; people annoyingly use it interchangeably with species. But as long as humans are still tribal in nature we're pretty much always going to have racism. It's never going away no matter how much we progress; not talking about it doesn't make it go away it just simply means one refuses to acknowledge the issue.
Categorizing the people into different "races" is problematic but it's so ingrained into human nature that it's a hard notion to let go specifically because there are differences in the ethnic groups; and humans by nature tend to group and categorize based on appearance, location, habit, etc.
American racial relations still suck major ass in my opinion; sure minorities aren't out there getting water hosed and attacked by dogs for simply going to the same restaurant as everyone else and we've made strides; but in the grand scheme of things we have quite a ways to go.
What is everyones thoughts on white women

God who is her site designer? That dude needs to be put under a bus. And imagine dude probably charged like $2-3k for that trite mess.
Some of these freckles pics start reminding me of Dragon Age just a little
70s Grier is great, 80s was...probably Claire Huxtable. Goddammit.
You just reminded me of Lisa Bonet in Angel Heart...

What are everyone's thoughts on black women?
I like some of them. But I'm married, so it doesn't matter.
You know for some reason dudes that brag on the age of consent being this or that starting to bother me

You can then have a black women, a freckled woman, and lastly a beautiful urban instagram model.
