Speaking of D4L....one time I smoked with my ex during the new years eve many moons ago. That song came on and the shit sounded like Mozart to me. I was harmonizing to the melodies of the song. Bottom line that was the last time I smoked weed :/.

You sound like those OT cats who probably only listen to Mackelmore and shit but go into hip hop threads talkin about "Oh man this artist is horrible, man you <insert artist here> fans listen to that remedial shit!". But they never drop knowledge or list some good artists for these people to get into. Basic backpacker mentality.

If you turned to an urban radio station between 2004-2006 you heard their singles.

"Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It"
"I Think They Like Me"
"Laffy Taffy"
"White Tee"
"Betcha Can't Do It Like Me"

If for some reason you were privileged enough to not hear any of these songs, just know that Nas wrote an entire album about the death of hip hop because of these two groups. That's all you need to know.

So many feelings and L's that transpired around that area. It got to a point where Jadakiss wanted to drop a refrigerator off of a building to Diddy. Hip hop was awesome in the 2000s.
