The Burnout Revenge/Legends thread

Hey, I know, I'm a bit late to the party, but the only bad thing about Legends is that I can't play it here

While I didn't "hate" Burnout 3, I pretty much agree with your post. Awesome game and the track design is simply awesome. I wouldn't mine some even more insane/wacky shortcuts in the next game during races. Some of the crash mode levels show the potential for a Burnout/San Francisco Rush hybrid for the next game.

I've put about 24 hours into the game, finished 75% and have made it to the Elite Ranking. I really wish multiplayer was 60FPS like BO2 Xbox.

Bleh.......I absolutely LOVED Burnout 3, intense battles at high speed and you needed SKILLS to take your opponent down, that is if he is pretty good as well.

Well with Revenge they took a deep and long shit on that formula and all the fun about taking someone down is gone, now you just need to slam someone against a wall or some stupid shit like that and they're down, jezus christ i hated Revenge for that and didnt bother to play it online anymore, while i played B3 a solid 200hours online.(also me and my friend are the best in the world, im not saying probally im sure :D )

But yeah its track(level)-design is pretty brilliant, very nice battle-scenery but completely wasted. B3 mechanics+B:Revenge's track=Yay!

*fixed*

But seriously, what's wrong with the PSP game? Everyone is claiming its great and I have little doubts in believing them.
There is a serious lack of real destruction. Particles and crashes are pretty bad, thus destroying half of the fun of Burnout. The driving is also really mundane, sometimes it feels way to assisted by the PSP and the drifting is oh-so-horrible. The graphics are pretty meh too.

I hate it. I don't understand most reviews, I try, but I can't.

Edit: I forgot, the takedows are shit. Oh, and few cars on screen >_<

Back to Perfect Dark Zero...Is anyone playing that Initial Vector contest online? Is anyone else having trouble getting the codes you find to work?

I hate to be the hater, but I've been playing the game for a while now, and while it does have it strong points, I find the overall presentation to be beyond piss poor; its nice that the game rewards every little action with some sort of unlockable, but the piss poor interface makes everything impossible to keep track. If there’s literally 200 things to unlock and I can’t keep track any of it, let along really know what action I take unlocks what, its not just overwhelming and annoying, but completely kills any incentive to improve one’s skills.

That being said, there are some definite highpoints, such as the whole rivals thing, which makes any intense race even more so.
