I'm thinking after this they should make an All-Star Batman-esque movie. Would be hilarious/amazing.

That would be the next best step WB could ever make.

Should I bring the avatar back for the summer?

So I really want to buy a ticket to the Imax in Hollywood opening weekend. How difficult will it be to get decent tickets/seats? I've never been to one. I just got my first job and I want to drive to see it with the ladyfriend.

Unless it's reserved seating, it's only a matter of getting there early. When I went to the TDK IMAX showing on opening day, I had to show up 2 hours early to get good seats.

Oh. So just because it's Imax it's like a normal theater. Get the tickets and show up early? I assume buying them online is the way to go?

Oh sorry, I was referring to what DM reported.

Here's the post:

Starts here at post 894, and continues through the next few pages.

He basically just reports what his friend said, which is that it's a better, more emotional film than The Dark Knight. Standing ovation, grown men crying..that sort of stuff.

He posted more

The more I watch the trailer, the more I like it. Especially going over it with my buddy who saw it; he said, of the trailer, that "you haven't seen anything yet."

Apples and oranges. He loved Avengers and he was blown away by TDKR. It's hard to compare, though - they're quite different . He said they're both rollercoaster rides, but TDKR is kind of like a really creaky, old coaster where you feel it could fall apart at any second (and that's a good thing,) where Avengers was more of a solid-but-exciting ride.

We don't understand the point in comparing them, though. They're nothing at all alike.

Legs is what matters here. Still I never would have thought Avengers would be a huge hit overseas. It seemed more like an American thing to me but it's doing very well.

I am still waiting to see the movie, all my friends and colleagues are talking about the movie. Its a hit alright.

Yep, but them online of you want to go opening weekend. Some theaters allow you to select seats as you purchase them.

Select seats?

What the what I always buy my tickets way in advance online and never have the option to select seats.
