If I ever post something in Japanese which I don't understand, please BAN me.
You know what I appreciate about games that many people take for granted or devs think we might not notice: the little things. Such as the backpack straps jiggling when you move, the way you hold guns (as posted above), the now infamous door closing animation, etc.

So thank you whoever you are dev from The Division who painstakingly worked on making those backpack flaps flap and wiggle, you are the real MVP.

Yeah, reminds me a lot of a Kojima or Naughty Dog game.

Yeah. I'm referring to all of the posts detailing how people think it's an architecture issue, where the game trusts the client side implicitly.

The game trusting client side info simply means the server side checks are disabled. There is no proof that they don't have server side checks or lack anti-cheat. They don't want to give hackers a headstart on trying to figure out their methods during a weekend beta weeks before launch.

Surely people on Gaf will remember those beautiful details while they're crucifying this game for the dreaded "lack of content" a couple months from now.

I don't expect everyone to hold the same sentiments as myself. I'm sure people will care more about content, and I mean it makes sense content helps extend the games life expectancy and gives you more entertainment, especially in a game we love. It's what Destiny players have been yearning for and why they want more content, they enjoy the core game and want to experience more. I have always been weird where I notice and appreciate those little things and value it on par with the content a game provides, as it helps build the world around me and overall makes me more enjoyable.

Server currently verifies information like your HP amount, your level, XP gains and inventory, but same time blindly trusts client fed information with things like ammo count, speed of movement, fire rate etc. It doesn't prove that there isn't server verification for those things, but it also doesn't prove that there is and only disabled. Only devs knows what their system can and can't have as server verified information, and what they possibly can do against client side cheating.

I found scrolling that long list of vanity items obnoxious, especially when it would get "stuck" when between e.g. jackets and pants section of list. That menu needs good filters and/or tabs so browsing it would feel tad smoother and faster.

I agree that the vanity items needs a better filter option.

Maybe a "new" tab for gear you acquired and have yet to inspect. Then the ability to minimize a list of a category. So if I want to skip the hats section entirely I can.

Something a little bit better. I currently have roughly 15+ of EACH vanity item type. So much to pick from.

Currently rocking a red parka and some black pants with red and white shoes. Hat is a white baseball cap.

Looking TOO sick. Fuuuuu

People should stop referencing data that makes me feel uncomfortable because games get ported to platforms I don't like

Or the alternative:
Let us sell clothes
Let us drop clothes
Let us stash clothes
Let us destroy clothes for crafting materials

Let us do SOMETHING with it because it was extremely annoying carrying around glamour clothing I wasn't wearing in the Beta.

This game, this f***ing game :D so intense and so much fun! I've been playing dark zone solo and been doing fine, no chance of survival tho when a group of 3 or 4 people decide to straight out slaughter me. Haven't played a game that kept me on the edge of my seat like this in a while.

Hunting rogues and looting chests got me a ton of DZ funds so I got my gear pretty fast. I just hope it's not that easy/fast in the final version

There are videos of your level, xp gain, currency etc all being edited. Nothing is checked right now.

Guy attacks me, sends a remote mine and half a magazine my way.
Manage to get away, recover and then kill him when he keeps following me.

I become a rogue agent. ಠ_ಠ

Then run around until my rogue status expires, get killed 1 second before the timer runs out.
It was partly exciting, partly a pain in the ass.

Just lost a blue item to an extraction camper. Even though I have a purple item in that slot it felt really bad. Fucker.

Can you explain please.?Also what is exotic damage jeezus.?

I guess I shouldn't have posted like I know 100% but what I can tell all Suppressors have the state to lower threat. From my testing it seemed to lower Agro while fighting in groups. So guys would attack other higher threat % players in my group.

this is all anecdotal and it could work completely different but it never made me stealthily.

I hope armour actually looks good in the endgame. Everyone in the beta looked like hobos.

I feel like the setting is going to hamper it in this department.

I'm still pissed that I lost that leather jacket

My scarf collection is on point though

I noticed yesterday while doing some PvE stuff, specifically the collectible intel, it said if you collect them all in a certain category, you'll get a unique piece of clothing.

Better get used to it now because thanks to this game's "grounded reality" setting your not going to see Borderlands type of wacky guns, your not going to see alot of Enemy variety since your just fighting humans, and your not going to see Destiny levels of cool Armor sets.

The setting already hampers what tge game can do (not an issue to me) and the only way I see them breaking this mold is if they decide to move into CoD Advance Warfare territory in terms of technology.

Well the armor and such is all worn under the jackets and such or are kneedpads and gloves.

I don't believe you will EVER look like a decked out soldier. It's not what they are going for.

And "look like a hobo" I am pretty sure most of those jackets and such you can wear cost multiple hundred dollars if you bought them in a store.

Basically my experience with the dz. I also kept getting marked as rogue for shooting rogue agents.

Overall I still enjoyed the game.

The preorder sets look pretty good. (Paramedic, NYPD, Fireman, Hunter, etc.) I'll probably rock some of those for a bit.

If you don't wanna become a rogue agent, don't shoot people without a skull over their head.

This beta actually got me to stay up two nights in a row before work. Only 4-5 hours of sleep each because of it, but man, it's so worth it as I have very little time these days. Managed to do pretty much everything in this and had a lot of fun.

How Dark Zones are is really great to me. I hope that it gets expanded a lot in that aspect. Destiny's PvP being balanced(guns) the same as PvE was way too offputting alongside with the shitty matchmaking and P2P lag. So glad that it feels a lot better in The Divison.

Caduceus was great. I wish I had time to try the shotgun was well. Anyone who did, how was it? My second gun was a double barreled shotgun most of the play-through.

The shotgun was okay. You only have two shots before you reload so you have to make them count otherwise you're screwed. I bought a purple shotty with 8 rounds from a DZ vendor that has 1k more DPS and heals you 4% when you get a kill.
