I never play too much of a beta because one, most of the time nothing carries over and two, I don't want to burn out before release.

The invisible bug on the Dark Zone is getting out of hand. I got killed 3 times in a row by a player using this bug.

So I've been playing this mostly solo the entire time. It's probably not the best way to play the Dark Zone but you still get some fun out of it. It's pretty fun to poke at people to see if you can get them to go rogue. Though honestly if you're open on the mic, you can get into groups rather easy by just talking to people in game. It's a different approach on finding a group and really enjoy it.

Well, we don't know what the final content will be.

Look at the size of the map. You really think there will be more content than vanilla destiny? I'd say there will be less actually not more. I'm buying the game and really like it but there looks to be a similar or less amount of content here.

Than vanilla Destiny? Absolutely.

Interesting, I wonder if it will just be the exact same content from the closed beta ?

Very likely, what we can hope for is that it's based on later build. This way we would get more realistic look into what optimisation is looking like for PC version.

OK, so the Dark Zone just made me love this game.... lone wolfing, kill an agent and go rogue - he had 3 pieces of gear.

Hit the extraction zone and get attempted ganked by 3 guys: proceed a deadly game of hide and seek whilst picking each one off.

Kill the last guy, fill up on all their gear, extract, winning at life.

Bloody intense, think I'm going to have to make some Uplay friends or something, my heart cannay' take it captain!

I'm really confused by the size of the map - because central park is not on it... and they were talking about central park in an interview.

Finally got a pair of non-tight jeans. Ganked someone rolling with a group of trolls who were screwing with everyone. Lost a few thousand DZ from deaths but worth it.

I don't understand something...I had like 15 items extracted from the Dark Zone in my stash...I went back to the Base of Operations, opened my Stash, transferred a few things into my inventory but then exited the stash because I wanted to look at some other things...I still had like 5 items in there...when I came right back and opened it, all 5 items were gone...so you have to clear your stash at one time or the items will disappear?

Were you in "Extracted" tab of the stash both times?

Sorry to be annoying, but this thread moves so fast...

If I pre-order from US PSN all four skins are included? Idk I'm a little confused.

Regular pre-order = Hazmat
Gold Edition pre-order = Hazmat & Nation Guard

The other 4 skins for the US are from the promotional key you need to get via their website.

I love how some people show up to an extraction zone without a loot bag. I was able to use the conceal pulse and managed to get within a few feet of another player right before the chopper shows up. I know exactly what he is waiting on since his weapon is up and ready.

I had to go rogue but left his ass for dead after a few shotgun blasts. I hear a "fuck you" over prox chat.

Love the game. I just hope the content is there.

As someone who played both the beta and destiny vanilla I'm pretty sure you're wrong. Unless there is unseen size able content no one has talked about in vanilla The Division. There are three DLCs the first year. I don't get the unfounded optimism. The beta is small.

2 possibilities here. 1 the beta is specialized and not a normal beta. The map will be added to and fundamentally changed on release.

2 The other zones are part of the 3 Dlc packs they are selling that are named in the division gold pack.

Okay, I'll have to poke around on their site then.

Thanks.

Wait a sec. Who's digital hitman because I swear they killed me last night in the DZ.

Edit: Yep he did lol mates just confirmed it. Cheeky twat.

I think he's a Ubisoft superfan who travels to all their events and has an unofficial Division blog.

.

Didn't try vanilla Destiny but tried the Beta. There is more to do in the Division Beta than there was in the Destiny Beta, and that was 1/2 the game, which is why I didn't buy into Destiny.

I think so but not sure...either way stored items in your Stash shouldn't disappear right?...I'll test it out again next time

You weren't. The way the storage works is.. when you extract something.. the first time you go to see it, the box opens up to the Extracted Tab. Once you exit it, if you go back, it opens to the Storage Tab and you have to tab over to Extracted to see that stuff.

And I will make sure that I will destroy your heroic idealism and bring injustice to our new Democracy! ;)

Bring it on lol. I think the layers of stuff like this are what makes the dark zone interesting. It's not 100% PvP or PvE and there's just as much room for co-operation as there is for chicanery with decent rewards for either option.

9h45m of played for the beta.

Tonight was a blast in the DZ with rogues trying to take down the extraction points, but getting shut down due to bands of the 'good guys' defending. It was a great way to end it. Grinded out one last hospital mission with a group that was clearly OP for the mission, even on hard. Fun stuff.

Now to find something to do for a month until this comes out. Guess it's back to Rocket League.

oh...that seems kind of silly to have it open up in the Storage tab after you exit...I'm assuming it's a bug that they'll fix before release

it's not a bug, it's a cheat...I don't understand hackers, if you're not good enough to play a game then why not just go and find a game you are good at instead of cheating to make yourself appear good

How in the fuck is it that every time tonight I was in a sever of invisible people/person?

I turned the PS4 off several times out of the DZ to reset what server I get, and got new opponents inside, but always I would find myself fighting off invisible mofos.

WTF happened?! Ugh. What a shit note to end on...

Well they intend for it to be storage for the PvE part too. So as you may find weapons or gear you can't equip yet, you can store it there in the storage tab. Having it automatically open up to the Extracted tab when you haven't extracted anything would make less sense.

The way they designed it works quite well. One stop storage area but it seperates the items intelligently so you know what is from where.

It has to be a bug in some instances because it happened to me and my friends multiple times during the beta.

i'm hoping in final game i can make a good looking lady. the small amount of faces in the beta are fugly. doesn't seem like a big deal until i see her in the cutscenes...

some drop Blue items...sometimes

I played some DZ today and unless it was a Blue item I didn't even pick it up (no Blues dropped then)

Why wouldn't you pick the items up to sell? I guess in the DZ they're worthless but if you get a full stash and are able to zip out quickly to sell the stuff it's not bad cash.

In fact, that's one complaint I have. I wish they'd have a in-menu option to dump your extra stuff into junk or outright selling it a la Torchlight. Would make for less tedium and allow people to get rich quick picking up ERRYTHING that isn't bolted down and not worth their time.

in the final game I would have picked them up...since it was in the last part of the Beta I didn't worry about it
