Eh?

Even ignoring the cheaters, this is not true.

Depends on what you take progress to be in DZ. Do you aim to get the best weapons? Gotta pony up the DZ dollars to get it, something you lose quite a fair amount upon death as a rogue. What if you choose to play solo, but remain exclusively hostile? Yes, you're intentionally making it harder on yourself, but the penalty remains harsher for someone who chooses to hunt other players instead of fodder. There is no penalty for being hostile in Rust/DayZ not via game logic but by consequence of actions.

Found a nice new backbag.

I have a question for the console players: When playing this in a PSN/XBL party with your friends, does the proximity chat no longer work? Do you have to use the in game voice chat for proximity chat to be a factor, basically. Because that is one of my favorite aspects of this game.
It's unclear atm since the game chat seems to be a little buggy. Sometimes my team can't even hear each other talking while being right next to each other. We also had a moment while being in a party chat that we could hear the other players talking. Not sure if they could hear us tho.

I really think night should be way darker. Add a little more stealth to roaming at night but then also increase the terror factor.

I wonder how long till we get Assassin's Creed style moods/cloaks etc or Splinter Cell Tri Goggles.? :D

Nice timing Sony. Thanks. They should have anticipated that the beta might get extended and not planned a network shutdown today. Pick up your phones people.

Uhm, anyone know what that Ubi club stuff means? never got it before.

How many people can you have in your squad for multiplayer? I can't seem to track down that info.

I wouldn't be surprised if zombies made their way in, there is only so much they could do with human enemies. Guy with bat, guy with pistol, guy with shotgun, guy with sniper rifle will grow boring after a while.

Yeah, they need way more variation. Infected outbreaks in the contaminated zone would be fun.

That's another minor beef I have...the lack of enemy variance within the same type of mob.

4. However, some people found UI adjustments to the group window which contained room for 5 players instead of 3. Hint of 6 man raids or a vestige of the past?

Cool - thanks.

I have a 5-6 person game group that plays weekly... so hoping this would work for us so we can get out of CoD and other FPS.

I'm going to hop on later and play some more in the DZ. It scares me though to see Cuco in here being a
shill

kappa.

This game is great. I just hope that DLC from Fallout 4 or Destiny does not drop around its release.

This is what I thought the DZ would be like. The forgotten part of the city off the energy grid, dark nights, harsher/unusual weather patterns making it a necessity to take shelter. I also like the idea you mentioned above, the contamination could randomly generate maybe leaving it up to the players to help eradicate what's causing it.

It would give players an alternative reason to go to the DZ, beyond yoinking peoples loot as they extract. :D Maybe getting them to clear sections of the city as the DZ moves around.

There already is an alternative. Get a group and roam for PVE mobs to get the loot (what the majority seem to do) or hunt down rogues.

Based upon the game info...

On Black Friday a devastating pandemic sweeps through New York City, and one by one, basic services fail.

SO why we got the electricity stuffs?

Just for variation purposes. Farming the exact same spawning soldiers over and over is going to get stale really quickly.

Because smallpox is extremely well known for causing zombie outbreaks
Riiiiiiiiiiiight.

Well what if some supposed cure that was worked on in the quarantined zone accidentally turned people? I mean, who knows, but there needs to be something more than hooded thug characters. lol

I've seen smallpox being "the division virus" before, but where does this info come from?
Everything i can find just refers to it being a virus with no actual name.

I would have much prefer see Crackdown style gang migration etc for The Division. Some dudes and bosses just waiting around in places seems a bit off. MMO or not, spice it up a bit! Wanna see gangs driving around.
