Sounds like I will get my money's worth.
same. i mean, if 40-50 hrs worth of fun isn't getting your money's worth, how many friggin' hrs worth is?

Jim's on point, as usual.
It's a solid meh. If you like looter-shooters, you'll have some fun. Otherwise don't bother.

I played the beta without Xbox live and all you miss out on is the dark zone and mission matchmaking / groupingAnyone playing this without PS Plus? Asking for a friend who's dead against paying for online.
The game is pretty bland to be honest....starting to regret my purchase. Got sucked in by hype i'm weak.

Man, seeing a shift on this page after people are playing for several days. Went from 90+ get hype, you got learnt Destiny...
To the very same Destiny complaints of blandness, and people saying it is a solid 7.5 game.
Just as Destiny, (or other looter games), you either love it, or ho-hum.

I actually think Destiny is a much better game. I just like the loot and gameplay better. Impressions tend to settle after enough time with a game.
I can attest to that; the wrecked city/lockdown look has been incredibly generic so far.

I agree, imo Destiny is a better game then division.
Totally the opposite for me and I played a shitload of vanilla DestinyI agree, imo Destiny is a better game then division.
How many hours have you put in? Just curious only 10 hours in and feel slight fatigue. Regular MMO on PC I can play for days though.
I'm just going to quote myself again after getter so much flack for my initial comments.Man, seeing a shift on this page after people are playing for several days. Went from 90+ get hype, you got learnt Destiny...

I'm very sure that this game won't have a 90 metacritic once most of the reviews from reputable sites are out. This game reminds me of Destiny in that it's going to take some time for people to come to the realization that it's not a good game. It's technically competent but it is probably one of the most generic boring games released to date. It truly doesn't shine in any category.
Lmao.If Jim Sterling thinks this game is just okay, that's good enough justification for me not to buy it. Ubisoft are just a mess at the moment. They live for the mundane open world experience. It sickens me.

Enjoying the game but for a game so based on looting there are only so many times I care to loot a pair of generic jeans and beanies.
LOL. Yeah, skinny jeans are not what I consider to be 'epic loot.'

It's a good game. Didn't grab me off the bat like Destiny did. Not nearly as compelling. Still good though and will finish the story. I'm level 9 now so I'm sure I'll get more jackets & beanies to look forward to that no one will notice.
One thing that pissed me off that I've yet to see picked up by reviewers, there are no melee weapons!
You're in a quarantined city, basically apocalyptic scenario, and everybody's running armed to the teeth with machine guns and unlimited bullets.
I'd love some epic melee gear to bash people's head in

Also, why is no one driving a car? Did the virus also kill all the car engines?
Pumps ran out of gas, which is why most cars are abandoned at the stations. Why would anyone be rolling around in heavily infected areas?
This is something that does bug me, JTF has all those humvees but don't drive around? Also, why is no one driving a car? Did the virus also kill all the car engines?
Knives, baseball bats(which enemies have) police nightstick? It's America *shrug*

I am honestly wanting to go back to Primal. Much more enjoyable game for me.

Funny that you say that. I chose this over primal because much as I love far cry, this was something different. I played it all day yesterday with a friend for the first time and it's ok... I am going to play it again today with that same friend and if I still don't like it I think I will trade it in for primal. Primal is on sale for $50 next week at best buy, which is $40 with gcu, so it should be close to a straight up trade if I trade it today and buy it next week.
