Overall what can they do? Keep buying exclusives with the money they are losing from hardware sales? They've lost soo much money this gen, I think they need to focus on !st party badass games then develop new IPs.

Sony better get that momentum back. :lol
 
Sony definitely took a blow on the business side of things, but Microsoft really didn't show anything new as far as games go at their conference (the stuff we already knew about looks great though). As long as Sony shows a couple things that are new and interesting like they have the past couple years I'm not going to be complaining.

IF Sony delivers the goods... EPIC Hah in your face MSfanboys!
IF Sony doesn't deliver... EPIC meltdown. Doomsday, the end is near..etc

THIS, this is what a lot of PS3 owners are probably upset about more than anything. We get news of this pet project or that new project only to wait for 2+ years for it. I guess I should not be shocked anymore. I do not think Versus is exclusive anymore no matter what anyone announces, especially Sony.

I'm just a bit ticked off knowing that Sony's conference will be nothing but promises and announcements of stuff that has a high chance to be delayed.

Personally I think that is EXACTLY what they need to do.

As well as further info on Resistance 2, Motorstorm 2, Little Big Planet and obviously Killzone 2.

Man... did I buy my PS3 at the wrong time or what... to be honest FFXIII was one of my main reasons for going with the ps3, in all honesty most of my friends have a x360 and I could at least play cod4 with them on live! :/

It just pisses me off. What the fuck is the point of having multiple systems if they all have the same fucking games? There is none! It might not be so bad since they're finishing the PS3 version before they even start porting, but how long will people in the US have to wait because of that?

R2 and M2 wasn't shown. LBP was only shown in a 20 sec video format.

How can Sony deliver the goods now when they've just lost their second biggest exclusive? All they could do is announce a FFVII remake to compensate but that's impossible because Square don't have enough developers. They've already move most people off Versus to get it done.
 
Somewhere Kojima is in the middle of a training montage complete with 80's stadium rock blaring preparing to unleash a deadly Judo chop to the neck of MS and their FXIII announcement.

oh yea, I thought it was. In any case it will just be more info and probably without release dates. Sigh. It just feels all of Sony's announcements have amounted to nothing right now.

They've gotta at least us throw us PS3 jRPG fans a bone. I'm not even talking about being butthurt about losing FFXIII exclusivity. I just wanna get at least ONE freakin' decent jRPG on the PS3 this year.

Valkyria looks cool on all, but I've always preferred jRPG's with the classical turn based combat.

If Sony knew about "FF13 on 360" a while ago, then I guess they're semehow prepared to retaliate.....'cuz if they didnt know this, then.....Oh dear Jesus Lord........

I think they need announce price-cut plus they need to show all the AAA games that were mentioned in this thread. Additionally I need to see Kojima (as producer) anouncing ZOE3 on PS3, plus Kojima (as director) announcing new game on PS3.
