It is a little puzzling that Sony couldn't even get a timed exclusive for this in NA tho.

2)What's the status of the relationship between Sony and Square Enix at the moment?
Because unless there are deals behind the scenes to compensate the loss of FFXIII exclusive it would be hard to believe that Sony is happy or relaxed about them.

So I thought at least FFXIII will make eveything up. And what do you hear? FFXIII on xbox 360 along with LO, blue dragon, star ocean etc. Why the hell did I buy a ps3 for? Where are the rpgs? Is it possible that the FFXIII team could have planned a game that would have specifically been tailored to the PS3 that they either now have to try and port onto the 360 or are they looking at what they need to sacrifice so that they can have the game run on both machines without a hitch?
Whatever happens, I think it's a given that it's not going to be smooth sailing for SE and the development of the this 'newly' multi format FFXIII.

Plenty of people are excited over Sony's first party stuff and rightfully so it's quality stuff, for me personally though none of those franchises do much for me. That just means i personally won't be playing many games that really push the limits of the PS3's tech and make it shine, which is disappointing since i think the potential is there (it was certainly there for the PS2). The developers just need to create their game specifically for the PS3 to tap it and that's not going to happen for mult-plat stuff.

Ball is totally in their court, it's going to be REALLY interesting to see if they learned from their past mistakes at these conferences, or they fall back on poor habits.
