I kind of freaked out myself, but honestly gaining a new game is much better than losing an exclusive from the gamer's perspective. It's a new game!

Not likely, but hey if they do managed to pull something that huge out i'll change it in a heartbeat. It'd take something along the lines that Squeenix was developing a NEW RPG franchise on the PS3 using the White Engine they'd originally planned to use for FFXIII though and i don't see that happening lol.

I don't think FFXIII won't come out in Japan. They said they're gonna start the localization and the 360 development at the same time. So, PS3 gets FFXIII in Japan before anyone else, and eventually it'll come out in the US for both PS3 and 360 at the same time, and later in Europe for both PS3 and 360 also at the same time. Probably when it comes out in the US the japanese 360 version will also be launched.


Edit: Hmmm forget, they pretty much confirmed it in the SE conference. And at the end of the trailer it says PS3 only (in japan lulz). Without the lulz. But it's implicit.

Judging from the past posts and QA, all points to it. But we have wait till Sony's conference for (lol) info.

The REAL megaton with any relevance to gaming for any PS3 owner would be the fact that SE revealed that no, they haven't been working on the localizations in an efficient well-planned out manner while working on the game, so A) they're gonna be just as shitty as ever, and B) it's going to take just as long as ever.

I tend to believe this has got to catch them by surprise though, only way i'll believe that this didn't come as a surprise to Sony is if they somehow manage to salvage their E3 with some huge announcement tomorrow. And no GoW3 is not a huge announcement, we all know that's coming eventually. It's got to be something totally out in left field like the FFXIII thing was today. If they knew it was coming there's no way i see Sony letting M$ totally steal the (HD gaming part) of the show simply by announcing a multiplat game.

Releasing games on PSN. Barring that I want to see NEW products. KZ2, LBP, GT are great but it's been a few years now and I am sicking of seeing them and not playing.

Trico, Naughty Dog game, God of War(gameplay) would be big at this point.

Also, wasn't Gran Tursimo the game that historically moved more PS units than any other game out there?

I would think it is world wide. GT3 at retail and as a packin did 14 million or something stupid crazy like that.
