Sony can't compete on shock value tomrrow, but they can sure as heck compete on content (and then some). That's what I think you'll see from them tomorrow. But barring Sony being the one to pull a 'mote out of their back pockets, don't expect nearly the same shock value.

Sony actually might be able to compete on shock value. We'll see.

Aren't there supposed to be like... two Rockstar exclusives? What happened with those? Was that ever true?

GTA4 the biggest game possible outside of Halo in the US didn't push either Xbox units or Sonys units
ahead of each other Final Fantasy sure as hell aint doing it.

I'm eager to get my hands on the Warhawk update (Now to only look forward to the one after it).

People shouldn't be down on the FFXIII news. If you own a PS3, you'll play it anyway just as you would have had it remained exclusive. Plus, the PS3 won't evade the sales spike in Japan (if you're worried about sales).

Also, it's not like PS3 is deprived from the SE RPG's. The system is still getting many SE titles with the exception of one (That one is being co-developed by MS, so it's understandable why it's exclusive).

Doesn't imply that at all necessarily..Warhawk has had home game launching for a while.

Besides, open beta will be the de facto launch later this year. IIRC, they are expanding the beta sometime in the summer..it would be nice for those who get in if that were at E3.

I think it would have been different if FF13 was moved to the 360 altogether. As of right now it's still coming to PS3, and I'm still buying it for PS3. And 360 owners get to play a great looking RPG. Everything is right on schedule and for the better. Everyone wins, really. Not sure how this is a Biblical catastrophe.

Seriously getting a new Team ICO game is a lot better then losing an exclusive for a game the PS3 is getting anyways. If Heavy Rain lives up to it's potential it will be truly amazing. Those devs know how to make an immersive game with emotional depth.
