There is but it's primarily aimed at PvP players, which is fair as they've been waiting a while. I'm a casual player, don't mind doing Trials but the PvP element isn't my thing. I completed all of PvE cyrodil but didn't enjoy sneaking around it all. Is especially disheartening doing an anchor and being ganked as the boss drops out. Can't hate on the Gankers though as I love doing it with my Nightblade

Unfortunately, I'm in the U.S. I pm'ed XT Vengeance since I thought he was managing the NA guild, but apparently he isn't, so unless anyone knows who is managing that guild and we can contact them, I think the newbies like me just need to level up to 10 so one of us can start a new guild for NA peeps. :/

Definitely agree starting a new one is a good idea. I think EU has about 50 players with about 45 inactive for 1 year plus with a new one you have less threat of your bank being raided by a returner

Yeah, I saw your story about the EU guild bank being robbed by that massive asshole MessieurCouchon and Queen of Hunting's wonderful revenge takedown in Marvel Heroes. Horrifying - can't believe he's still posting on GAF. Feel like going into sale thread and warning everyone away, but I suppose that way lies madness.

Just love the crafting in this game - he was licking his chops earlier, but I missed the shot. So cute.

The crafting is really satisfying. I recommend never making gold armour as its too fun changing armour. It's incredibly satisfying making your own food, potions and enchantments to.

Yea we got robbed and he was a douche but if he wanted back in I'd let him don't know why.

Really hope that controller support isn't far away. I think that coupled with DLC would be enough for me to get back in. I maxed out my Nightblade DD, couldn't push him much further. Was loving dragonknight tank and Templar healer. So good. Will be back in time

So I got ESO in GMG's recent sale and just got around to making my character and finishing the intro scene. For some reason the game is running very poorly on my system. Is the Pact the "broest" of all the factions? They don't seem to harbor any anger or superiority and are a pretty tightly-knit community. Haven't played Daggerfall or Aldmeri groups though.

My game rarely crashed and since 2.0.13 my game crashes A LOT. Like, In an hour I can get up to 4-5 hard crashes.

It's definitely not on my end because I haven't changed anything on my PC regarding hardware or software.

Cannot wait for that controller support!!!! Was going to use the Steam controller come November. Was hoping to use both Xinput and keyboard so I could make a custom mapping. If it's switches between the 2 dramatically that could be a little annoying.

Unfortunately no. In the old days closing the launcher once the game was running helped. Is it constant stutter? In busy regions like cities you will notice it slow down. Out in the wild you should be fine.

Yeah, it constantly stutters with FPS all over the place. For now I've capped the game to 30fps so thats at least better than constant frame drops. Its not as smooth as 60fps but the game looks really great downsampled from 4k.

My wife and I just started playing this on PC after getting it in the most recent GMG sale. Neither of us have experienced crashes, but a bit of lag only when the server seems to be running with a heavier population.

To be honest, this game has grabbed me like most other MMOs haven't in a LONG time. I'm talking Vanilla WOW here. I've moved to mostly single player games for the past 5 years or so having a little one, but this one scratches so many itches. I get to make a character just the way I like and my kinda tanky caster/haeler is having far too much fun. Thinking of picking up either Imperial pack or the Starter pack to throw a little more cash their way and for the glory of a mount.

I've set it so that people of all ranks may invite new members - they don't have to be Gaffers, just try to invite responsible gamers (

From what I understand you can do anything I'm terms of gear and weapons, just depends on how you skill point your character.

On my Nightblade (level 13 atm) I originally went bow and got bow skills but then around lvl 6 switched to dual wield daggers. Since at lvl 15 I get weapon swap those bow skills won't be wasted as I'll be able to switch between the two weapon sets.

Attribute wise, points should be distributed to compliment your main resource and gear. I wear mostly medium armor and most my skills now use stamina so I put points into stamina and health.

Im lvl 10 now and havent spent a single skill poiny om any of my subclasses skills. Is that bad?

There are a CRAZY amount of crafting materials lying around. Same with consumables. I've already gotten my upgrades of bank and bag (Just +1 each at this time but still!) just to try to keep up.

Yes, me too! I simply can't resist picking up all the food and checking every crate (I know this is madness). I was googling around yesterday and apparently you can also store things on your horse? And you can upgrade storage by feeding it oats or wheat? And if you want it to go faster you should feed it apples? Haven't figured out how to do that yet, but apparently the stablemasters offer lessons that will improve stamina, speed and capacity of your hourse that be purchased once a day for 250 gp.

Also ventured into the pvp zone in Cyrodil and was really impressed, although I wish the map was smaller. It really does feel like a gigantic battle field. I've been scouting enemy outposts and also doing the solo pve missions that I come across. Also I'm finding much better recipes and loot in the crates (my first and only purples) than I am in the pve zones so far, so it's worth one's while to check.

And we finally have more than 10 members, yay, so people can start adding things to the guild bank, if they're hard up for storage (like me!) or just want to share things they don't need/want. Just remember to not put anything in the guild bank that you can't afford to lose. I don't think anyone that's in the guild would clean out the bank like MessieurCouchon did to the EU guild's bank, but better safe than sorry. So don't save anything in the guild bank storage that would be a real loss for you if someone decided to be an asshole.

I liked the lizardman sorceror I made when I first got the game last week, but wanted to try something different so I made a Nord Dragonknight. I Immediately loved it. The visuals of the defensive buffs with the cool molten spikes are awesome and I love having multiple melee DoT cleave abilities. I finished bleakrock last night and am about to hit level 7.

I don't know how deep I'll get into this game but it was probably worth the $12.
