Anyone played the Imperial City DLC Pack yet...?
Would love to hear some impressions, particularly of the PvE sections. (...as apparently the pack's main draw is PvP.)

Is there anyone on the Xbox version of the game? Every time I log in, the voice channel is empty. Not that I ever use it, but that was how I knew people were on.
As far as I know the Halloween thing isn't real.
I've pretty much moved to Destiny. I love ESO, but I'm just not hooked on it like I use to be.
I joined a 30 day Veteran Rank campaign and it's always full.I hope the PS4 version stays active over the coming months. While I too am diverting my attention to The Taken King, I would really like this game to not become a ghost town.
The PvP campaigns seem well enough full on PS4 or close to it anyway throughout most of the days. Except for the non veteran campaigns and the campaigns seemingly designated for one faction to farm on. Why are there so many non veteran campaigns when only one of them ever really sees any action?
My PS4 was on all day and I didn't know why. Turns out it was downloading yet another humungous patch for this game. So sick of it. Ended up just deleting the entire game off my HD. The few times I do play it isn't worth the times when the stupidly huge patches bring my network to a crawl for a day.

I think so far the game has managed to maintain a pretty solid fanbase on PS4.
Yeah I'd say the initial console zeitgeist is gone and the Imperial City hype on console was easily overshadowed by Taken King. But PS4 has two full vet campaigns right now along with three campaigns that are being used by one of the three factions to farm, each having one faction maxed. So while the numbers aren't what they were at launch I'd say the numbers are still fine for what they are.The first Vet Campaign (Azura's Star) is also full on Xbox One. But for context, these campaigns only hold 1500 people, and when Imperial City launched on PC every single campaign was full for weeks with queues several hundred deep. The numbers just aren't there on console at the moment. It's actually a reversal of the previous situation where PC had gone very quiet, but console was packed out.
By the way, Zenimax have stealth launched "Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited: Premium Edition" on console today. It's about £90 and includes the base game, Imperial Edition pre-order bonuses and 5500 crowns.
I really wish they hadn't change some of the bonuses from a few armor sets. Lost some spell damage on a character cause of it. Also seems you can't jump as high from stealth anymore.
I'll take that vamp bite if you still have one. Werewolf buff hit hard on my little dude, want to try something new.
Anyone else having problems updating to the new patch? Mine says preparing to download then when it reaches around 24% there it goes back to 0% and restarts. After restarting 3x the download stops and says error in downloading. :\
I had an error the first time it tried to download but it was just cause I didn't have enough free space on the hard drive. Downloaded fine after deleting something.
Guys I could use some help:
At first I got a pretty bad impression of this game after reading a lots of reviews and impressions when it came out, but now I'm hearing a lot of praise for the whole 180 that this game has done.
So i'm pretty tempted to get this on PC. Coming from Guild Wars 2 what can in expect from this game (combat, quests, etc)? And what would you say are the main issues that are still present in the game?

From what I've read, the game's biggest critics fall into two categories: 1) Those who are pissed it doesn't play like a mainline Elder Scrolls game, and 2) Those who are pissed that it doesn't play like other MMOs that they have played extensively. This game is weird hybrid between the two. If you go in expecting it to follow the designs and expected tropes of either of those you will probably come away disappointed.
Hi Slash,
You may be better off in the PC OT: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=940597
Also review the first post on this OT, I may be bias (I wrote it!) but I think it gives a pretty good overview of the game.

As a longtime Elder Scrolls fan I went in knowing what I would get and I'm having a good time. Be aware that I have never regularly played any MMO before, so if this game was missing important features or MMO staples, I'd never know it, so maybe ignorance is bliss. I'm also playing on console so that I could use a controller instead of a M&K since AFAIK they have not patched this into the PC version.
Maybe this will help you decide.
There's another category - I've talked to a bunch of people who have very strong opinions of how Elder Scrolls Online is terrible, and none of them had actually played the game. They were just repeating the buzz online, so it's basically an echo chamber of hate.
Does anyone know of a decent absolute beginner's guide to the pvp? I spawn in my alliance's stronghold or whatever and have no idea how to play. I have some quests for this area, but it seems like travel to any place is pretty vast and if I die, forget it. Anyway, I found my way to Bruma and I did a couple of pve quests, got killed, now I'm back at the starting area. I don't even know how to begin to find the warfare. It seems so quiet and barren. I'm Daggerfall Covenant and doing Azura's Star campaign i believe, on PS4. Any pointers will really help me here. Level 20 BTW
Oktarb, have you considered trying another headset? The voice chat should just work.
To my recollection there have only been like 3 patches since the game came out. And this time it was to add the DLC and huge array of tweaks and additions that go along with it.
Astro 50's. They work perfectly for everything but this game. I notice that when I look under social the game seems to cycle though trying to start local chat. The countdown goes 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1....and then repeats indefinitely. This is after numerous days of logging in and out.
