Didn't see an answer to my earlier question: in public dungeons there are chests which everyone can loot and then am I right a barrel or sack of wheat is instanced just for me?
The loot doesn't seem to be instanced and sometimes it does. I dont know how it works, its weird. I saw a chest, another guy looted it, and it was empty for me after the person looted it. But other times, I would see someone else loot something and then, it would still be there for me to loot also. So the answer is like, a yes and no.
Beside all the server issues...
Can this game be played in shorter sessions? .
Yes, with so many differentactivities to do, you can do something in as little as a few seconds, and hop off. For example: You could start a research before heading to work and have it done by the time you get back. You could craft a few pieces. You can steal a few things and sell them for some cash and then head out. Some quest are very short, like literally, go to the other side of town, talk to person, done.
Any tips? Keep accidentally stealing stuff instead of talking to people then the guards attack me.
I see many others having this same issue and thus why so many people be dying in town. Just like all other bethesda games, you cant just rush into talking to them. You have to carefully aim the cursor at them and see what it is your cursor is on before hitting the confirm button. It may be getting some used to, but it will save you a lot of hassle.
Been getting a fair amount of disconnects every 10 minutes or so this week. Is that fairly normal right now? I figure its just the high server load.
Yup, just about everyone is getting these disconnects, even on the official forums, community members and devs alike are talking about this.
Because they decided to cancel the open beta, they could have ran into these issues and would of have weeks to solve them before launch.
we now have to pay the price because of someones decision not to go through with the open beta.
I bet the devs are pulling crunchtime trying to solve these issues because of someone high's up dumb decision to skip on the beta.
