Dragonborn Dragonborn
by his honour is sworn
to keep evil forever at bay
and the fiercest foes rout
when they hear triumph's shout
Dragonborn for your blessing we pray
and the scrolls have fortold
of black wings in the cold
that when brothers wage war come unfurled
Alduin bane of kings
ancient shadow unbound
with a hunger to swallow the world

The last good game Bioware made was NWN.Death Dealer said:LOL I've seen at least a dozen comments like, after seeing this trailer, I don't care about DA2 anymore.
I haven't really loved a Bioware game since BG2. I think both they and Bethesda have been on a downward trajectory, since their peak about a decade ago. Here's to hoping that Oblivion was rock bottom. As some said, an improvement from there isn't saying much. At least I could still enjoy playing Oblivion after it was modded. Dragon Age and Mass Effect put me to sleep.
Wrong.Shanadeus said:The last good game Bioware made was NWN.
That's it, everything else since then is shit.

Why do some people just not appreciate the shear velocity of this game/series and attack the visuals first? Sometimes the content of the game is more important than the visuals. I mean, look back to the beginnings of RPG's: Zork, DnD, Magic: The Gathering...There were no "visuals" to make a great experience. Even DnD can be played on a large piece of paper with coins to represent players. It is visually different than buying a professionally made game mat, but the experience is equal. The visuals are a huge bonus, especially in RPG's. In fact, that's what makes an RPG so great: the content! You can see this ANYWHERE! in MOST cases, RPG's focus more on the plot and character development. I am not saying that impressive visuals are bad. I love when a game looks heavenly. But would you rather play an RPG that looks FANTASTICALLY good with poor narrative? Or would you rather have a better time with the experience of the content? Again, this philosophy is somewhat restricted to RPG's. Also, with a game as expansive as an Elder Scrolls game, it's difficult to make high-poly, high-res models and textures. There just isn't enough data space or processing power in current gen technology.zon said:Everything in that trailer looked great, except the water. The water looked like ass. ASS. Wait, what?
Dragons can fall out of the sky, cause the dont have any more power. So you can ride a dragon?
Does this mean 120 unique dragon abilities, or do they just level up, or something?
There are 120 unique dragons!

If old sorry, and sorry for spelling mistakes.
In Skyrim you have a kind of auto-aim to prefent friendly fire. So your attacks will get drawn towards the opponents a bit more.
Some magic-weapons have secret powers that you wont discover untill you use that specific weapon.
You cant block with a blade in one hand and a magic power in the other. You can only block if you cary a double-handed weapon or a shield.
Het 'Spell Shield'-effect zal terugkeren
The ''Spell Shield effect'' will return
Pubs/Bars will play a big role in this game. You can listen in on conversations and obtain quests that way. You can also get information.
The amount of information you get about a quest depends on the attitude [of the npc] towards the player. So be nice... or not.
Lot's of nieuw environmental spells have been added to the game
One of the finishing moves has you thrust your sword deep into your opponents ribcage, the opponent will make gurgling sounds as he dies.
You can cook, chop wood, work in the mines or work with metal.
Er is een spreuk waarmee je de tijd heel sterk kunt vertragen (denk aan Bullet Time uit The Matrix)
There is a spell to slow down the time.....like Bullet Time.
One of the citys is Riverwood. It's an actual woodcutter/logger village.
The game looks sick, the wind can influence the water by making waves. Environmental effects can influence each other (so not just wind affecting water).
Encounters with dragons are NOT scripted. They're completely random and you can find yourself in a tow that has been set ablace by a dragon.
You can train ALL your skills to 100 but not all perks are attainable.
There may be an entire dunmer city present in the game
Haarfingar is said to be home to the largest trading port in Skyrim
De Dwemer Ruins zullen terugkeren.
The Dewmer Ruins are back
The economy part is much better than in Oblivion. If you destroy a nr.1 tradingproduct (in this case the harvest) the prices will be skyhigh. So you'll have to buy products in a different city.
Archers can hold their breath for a more accurate shot.
A battle worn dragon can fall out of the sky because he doesn't have the strength to fly anymore.
Only some [the interesting] NPC have important things to say, the others will respond with short sentences (which are still possibly unique).
There are 120 unique dragons! made by 8 developers.
I could die a happy man. If there is more crafting type things in the game than just alchemy it will be a dream come true for me. Hopefully there is leather working as well.
You can cook, chop wood, work in the mines or work with metal.

Hell be able to slow down time around him with one shout, or use a special whispered dragon shout to stealthily move close to an enemy in a mere instant. And while theyre cagey about the details, Bethesda says that one shout will let a player summon an actual dragon, calling him by name to fight.
Sounds like he's using the Fus, Ro, Dah shout in the trailer, though that first word sounded more like "Mus."

But I'm guessing they won't since both Morrowind and Oblivion had to separate dungeons by type.
