The Final Bosman Show

I find it weird that Street Fighter V is getting praise for something that Tekken always did. Namco never charged for new characters (except for Tekken Revolution, but that one's F2P). DLC characters in Tag 2 were available for everyone for free after some time. And the roster is one of the biggest you can get in a fighting game.
That's why I don't understand why Kyle says that Tekken 7 has to do "something similar".

You're comparing a small handful of characters and stages that were already on disk to some extent to a constant drip of DLC characters that will likely double the initial roster.

They're praising Capcom because they could easily just sell them for $5 a piece and be done with it. Instead, they're incentivizing people to play online - which is good for everyone.

Dear Kyle,

if you read this I just wanted to let you know the SF5 episode was utter shit. Not sure what the thought was to do the show while walking outside with go pros on Ian and Elise's heads. Audio was all over the place and the footage looks terrible. Couldn't even finish it.

It was a stupid idea.

No it wasn't. I wouldn't want them to repeat it unless they can make it different once again but this one time it was brilliant, and I loved the fact that I got to see those parts of the building where they work, and the neighborhood, in this rough amateurish footage. Almost felt like going to lunch with them.

That kind if behind the scenes stuff isn't new to many of us so I guess it's a you want it if you don't see it kind of thing.

Doesn't excuse the piss poor audio and video quality imo. Couldn't pay attention to anything that as being said because it was too difficult to hear.

I hope they don't do it again.

Sorry, I enjoyed it. Hopefully they do another.

Have he said anything about the stand up comedy stream?

Poor Kyle is probably still working on material for that hour lol

I hope a new thread is made here when it happens. It might not be gaming related but if you put it in Off Topic, is going to be buried.

I also enjoyed that episode, BTW.

I have to believe Huber gave Kyle a reprieve and it's not actually going to be a full hour.

It will be 55 minutes.

It was one of the best episodes yet.

GT is fast and loose.

Was that ending bit a reference to the Christian Bale blowup a few years back? Some of the lines seemed awfully familiar.

Expected Bosman to bring up something to change my mind about the conference, but didn't really get much. I'm not really swayed by the reuse of the same animation for the Nintendofication of the Xbox characters that just reinforce to me at least that they don't have much character going on. I'm also not that jazzed when they come out beforehand and announce we're showing these games off then they proceed to show them off. Them following through on what they already announced doesn't make the conference much better to me.

I'm confused on the wording as well with saying it's the best conference since announcing the Xbox One. Either he just meant it was the best conference since the announcement full stop or he considered the announcement of the Xbox One the best conference for them until now. I'll assume the former since the latter would be weird.

Besides that the bonus bits and goofs were pretty alright considering the restriction of time.

Es tut mir leid

Ahahaha, didn't see that second Schluffe bit coming at all. Amazing.

Something I just noticed and really started to bug me with this episode. Why are all the black figures on the right (my right, not Kyle's) of the space shuttle image standing ON THE RAILING!?!?!? Are they going to jump? Are they crazy? Somebody needs to stop them!

Best ending to a Final Bosman this decade.

You know what you have to do Kyle: Sell that song on iTunes and use the proceeds to buy out Defy Media and use that as leverage so you can keep your desk that which knows the truth behind all things.

Vengeance is a dish best served while sitting behind a kick ass desk. It is known.
