Trying to make sense of comic book physics is pretty useless.
Y'know how Flash runs everywhere, doesn't he get tired? Yes, he's moving fast but he's still moving

I really hope that DC and CW keep it up with this TV Universe. I'd like to see more shows eventually.
Nah, it was little bolts on his second attempt to unravel the tornado and then the last scene with him but before that on the first tornado unravel attempt it was from the lighting bolt after images or whatever.I don't think he has proper access to the Speed Force yet and only started tapping into it at the end.^Actually those are just after images of the lightning bolts on his suits IIRC.
Nah he just doesn't get tired. Though when he started it out it prob. did, but as he kept utilizing his power and get accustomed to it, it would barely become taxing on him.
I mean come on, he outran death in the comics and that barely taxed him physically or mentally.
Isnt the speed force directly mentioned by name in the pilot?
There's a Titans show in development for TNT. Not much is known about it yet, other than that it will feature Nightwing, Starfire and Raven, and that they're still deciding whether or not it will be in the Arrowverse.

I think it implies the full 23 episodes, the same deal as Arrow. I could be wrong though. Is a 'full' S1 16 or 23 eps?

I'm guessing it got a full pick up ages ago, and they're spreading that announcement out for maximum press. Dat CW.

All I'm sayin'
Seems like the 18-49 demo jumped to 2.5 with the +3 number

Please keep your expectations in check. We of ArrowGaf have also been over hyping the show and it will slip up with varying levels of quality. We stay around to complain about the bad episodes while we wait for the payoff bombs.Just watched it on Amazon.
Thought the buzz on GAF was pretty spot-on. It's undeniably fun and there is some genuine heart spread throughout, but there's also the obligatory CW issues. A few too many cute ~20 year olds and some overly fast pacing, but those seem to come with the territory of a pilot on this network.
Overall, it didn't grab me the same way Smallville's pilot did, but I was also 14 at the time and 27 now. The final 10-15 minutes was really solid overall, though. This could be really special.
Wut, Arrow hasn't been disappointing(besides maybe a single one off episode) since S1 kicked into gear around Ep14 I think it was. Please keep your expectations in check. Season 1: episode 2 "Fastest Man Alive"
Iris is escorted by Barry to a university gathering, honouring Simon Stagg, a famous scientist. When six gunmen interrupt proceedings, Barry changes into the Flash only to pass out. While the scientists try to discover what's wrong with Barry, they realize that they're dealing with a metahuman who can replicate himself. Meanwhile, Iris becomes intrigued by the mysterious red streak fighting crime in Central City.
The CW complaints are so stupid and baseless
We get a show with good diversity, multiple middle aged regulars, a gorgeous original score but NOPE, couple of mid 20 years olds make it somehow "too CW."
RME
To me CW means just two things
-plenty of beautiful people on the cast
-very fast pacing.
To me it means Supernatural, Smallville, Arrow and Flash.
Supernatural S2 - S5 is brilliant, and S1/S6-S10 is pretty good. Smallville is a solid retelling of the Superman franchise, and truer to the character than either SR or MOS. And Arrow/Flash are both excellent.
To me your post means one thing - go and watch Nikita. You won't be dissapointed![]()

Is that all across the CW now though? It certainly wasn't the case with Smallville. >_<
I spoiler it anyway, because some people just want to be surprised.Might be going a little overboard with the spoiler tags here since it's not really much of a spoiler but oh well.
It's more of a recent development. Vampire Diaries started that. it was absolutely ridiculously fast for first two seasons, unlike anything else on TV and it worked so well I think the network made concious decision to go for fast shows. TVD eventually slowed a bit ,but still remained fast, Nikita blazed through it's arcs like crazy, Arrow turned out to be the same. There are propably some show they have that don't follow that, but still, no other network can compare with the speed of pacing CW can deliver.
I wonder if it deals with their primary demo because in the age of streaming and binge-watching TV, I imagine the younger generation isn't necessarily on board a slow burn show.
You need to keep them interested week in and week out
