The Pop stuff looks fine. The ReAction stuff is supposed to look bad. They are trying to mimic the cheesy figures of the late 70s and early 80s.
I think it is because Funko can't do good sculpts no matter what. Even their premium figures like some Game of Thrones stuff look mediocre.

It would be cool if Superman purposely makes sure never to work out or do anything strenuous that didn't involve saving people in order to not overdevelop his muscles and look like SSJ Trunks.

That's what makes them great.

Probably cause I grew up on those kind of action figures.

I just had a thought.

In both Arrow and Flash, a crazy amount of people know the hero's identity.

In Flash, it's...

Wells, Cisco, Caitlin, Joe, Henry, Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Gilded Glider, Gay Harry Potter, Eiling and likely other elements of the US Government, Cisco's brother, Ronnie, Martin, Martin's wife, not to mention the entire cast of Arrow, plus Dig's wife.

Wow.

Wow.

Not as bad as Man of Steel, all of Smallvile, Lois, Perry, and probably Batman

Wow.

Eventually it'll get revealed to all. Wally going public was great. The show and Barry don't seem to care about hiding the secret from anyone except for Iris and Eddie really.

I love it.

I hate when logical story progression is sacrificed to maintain a secret identity long beyond it's shelf life. (Except for Lance. He can never know. XD)

Secret identities aren't to protect the hero, but the hero's loved ones.

If their identity was public, all the villians would go after their friends and family to hurt or blackmail them.
But that happens anyways. All the time. It's one of my least favorite comic book tropes.

The loved ones will always be in danger.

New episode today:
Season 1: episode 17 "Tricksters"

A copycat killer who goes by the name “The Trickster” starts setting off bombs in Central City. In order to stop the villain, Barry and Joe meet with the original Trickster, a criminal mastermind named James Jesse (guest star Mark Hamill), who has been imprisoned for 20 years.

I ... really can't stand Cold and Heat Wave. They're just so theatrical, and not in a good way, just incredibly obnoxious. I don't remember their acting being so bad on Prison Break.

Wow.

I count this as a bonus. Hiding a secret identity is a thing we saw too many times before.

Clearly The CW wants back on the Smallville train. The cast for that spin-off series is becoming too damn big.

Why is that a problem? That show was built to be team-based and will have different style of storytelling. There will be few regular characters, lots of rotating cast, and action will be on much larger level than on Arrow/Flash. And I love over the top Captain Cold, hopefully he will cause lot of trouble in that show. :D

Heartily agreed. One of the reasons the original Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle run is one of my all-time favorite comics: 0 secret identity melodrama bullshit. It's fantastic.

I can't stand Captain Cold. To me, he is probably the worst character in the show at the moment. Anyway, gotta catch up in Arrow, need to watch 2 more episodes.

It's kind of interesting to see how polarizing the Rogues are. Some people think that they're one of the best parts of the show while others think that they're the worst.

I saw this earlier in some teases from Kryptonsite about the episode tonight, since they already saw it, and now I'm really curious to see what it is.

- An old favorite: One of the stars of a CW television series that was based on a popular property makes an unannounced guest appearance in the episode, playing a very major character. Start speculating now.

The full list of teases is here if you are interested.

Damn, I'm going to miss the episode tonight. How fast are the episodes put online?
