So I guess we can assume that the skeleton Joe and Lance are looking at in the promo is the OG Wells?
Might be in the original timeline Well hired them too but when they were older, and RF recruited them earlier to speed up the process. Would explain why he was so dead set on hiring Cisco in the flashback episode.

.I think Blake Neely does all those little musical cues/motifs. Don't know the right word. They can be found in the character themes on the soundtrack. Off the top of my head, Merlyn, Deathstroke, Weather Wizard, China White and Reverse Flash all have them. I'd guess Ra's and Captain Cold do too. I always assumed China White was meant to be a bigger villain as it was strange she had one like the rest of the heavy hitters.

The Speed reference and saying to his son (named Walker of/c) "I am your father" were cringe inducing, but the rest of the ep was holy shit so good that it makes up for it.
There's going to have to be a total paradigm shift next season thanks to how much is happening, but I love it. Better this than maintaining some staid status quo!

This episode was so strong that I'm expecting some Star Wars fans that decide to watch this episode just for the reference to end up hooked to the show.

Holy crap, I was just not ready. I was getting bodied left and right.
First, gotta give props to the FX team. I dunno what budget they have, but they make the absolute most of it. That opening battle was fantastic. And the real Wells' death? Utterly terrifying and grotesque. Very well done and shot. Creeped the hell outta me.
Okay, onto the rest of the episode:
- Mark Hamill as the Trickster? Fucking. Phenomenal. You could could tell Hamill was having the time of his life. Absolutely loved him and can't wait for him to return. He's basically the Joker of this universe, but with his own little tweak, and Hamill just breathes such life into him. Trickster 2 was whatever, but Hamill was great with his little assistant there. I was in stitches throughout the whole thing. Breaking Bad Season 5, kept killing the guards, I am your father, Speed references, this dude is the best!
- Barry was killing me with his passive aggressiveness! Holy crap, I was in stitches every time, and it was the most obvious thing too. It wafted off him in waves.
- Poor real Wells. From now on, I'm just gonna refer to Cavanaugh as Eubard. You don't deserve the name Wells, you son of a bitch!
- Okay, Eddie's part of Team Flash now? That seemed sudden and really out of the blue, but okay, I'll accept is cause Eddie is a total bro and I love him. DON'T YOU DARE HURT HIM, FLASH.
- But man, that not-telling-Iris bit is gonna backfire on all these motherfuckers.
And now... that fucking preview:

It definitely creeps me out every time it's on.

Far too difficult given the physics needed for something like Flash's movement. Just look at the canned Superman/Iron Man games.
Seriously, CW is just kicking fucking ass. They are doing so well with the help of WB in pushing DC into the houses of millions each week, and by god do I want more. I see why all the spinoffs are happening, this universe has so many stories to tell and the quality is absolutely perfect now for superhero effects.

The beauty of a superhero universe is the near limitless content. So many great characters, both good and evil.

Then after that. Man it was basically left and right holy shits. All those reveals. Wells and The Trickster (Hamil) basically stole the episode. Barry Allen did a really good job too.
Definitely the best episode so far in the show for me.
Best show in America. Sherlock is the best show in UK. Boom! Yeah I said it.

Can't believe when they first announced this show I thought it wouldn't hold a candle to Arrow, but this Season of flash surpasses Season 2 of Arrow for me, easily. I've never said WTF so many times in an episode for a TV show and I mean that in a good way.
