I never cared much for arrow. In all the media i've seen the green arrow in he has been funny and serious while arrow is way too serious for my tastes.

it's good contrast to this, i'd like them to stay fairly serious. just the drama is getting a bit cheesebutt at the moment.

I enjoyed the bruce timm green arrow short in superman/shazam! the return of black adam

Then again almost anything bruce timm touches is gold.

That's because he's not Green Arrow yet. He is slowly cheering up and evolving into the persona known from comics.
That said, under all this jokes and attitude there has always been a very angry man in the comics, one that pretty often did things Batman (who is a posterbuy for grim and serious in DC) would never allow himself to do.

Whoa

First DaveH, now him

Wonder what got him

- Deadline: Roger Howarth Joins ‘The Flash'
Roger Howarth (General Hospital) has landed a recurring role on CW’s superhero series The Flash, based on the DC comic. The project, from Warner Bros TV and Berlanti Productions, is an origin story about Barry Allen, aka The Flash (Grant Gustin), a Central City assistant police forensics investigator who arrives in Starling to look into a series of unexplained robberies that may have a connection to a tragedy in his past. Howarth, repped by Gersh and McGowan Management, will play Mason Bridge
, an award-winning reporter from the Central City Picture News. He’s assigned to shepherd new employee Iris West (Candice Patton), but their relationship becomes complicated when Bridge begins to investigate Barry’s mentor, Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh).
Howarth can currently be seen in General Hospital. He also recurred on Californication.

Do you think Firestorm is going to be one of Barry Allen/The Flash's toughest tests?
From the amount of powers they've given him, he's going to be a difficult foe for anyone to go up against.

Oh shit...

Zoom comes to save the day only to then beat the shit out of Barry himself

New episode today:
Season 1: episode 3 "Things You Can't Outrun"

As Barry and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs work to capture Kyle Numbus, aka The Mist, a dangerous new meta-human with toxic gas powers, they revisit the painful night the particule accelerator exploded and killed Caitlin's fiance, Ronnie. Meanwhile, Joe decides to finally visit Henry in jail after all these years, but things take a dangerous turn when Kyle shows up looking to punish Joe for arresting him years ago. Meanwhile, Iris and Eddie continue to hide their relationship from Joe.

They're really hitting the Ronnie Raymond stuff early, huh?
Anyone else thinking he's going to have a very Doctor Manhattan origin? He gets blown up and then takes awhile to re-assemble himself and all that

Likely.

I'm just amazed that they're this on the ball. Moving even quicker than Arrow did, just going full-on in terms of other heroes.

No news on Mirror Master or The Trickster showing up yet?

I wish they could get Mark Hamill back but I'm guessing his schedule is booked solid for years. And a truck full of cash. He'd probably do it if it wasn't for Star Wars too, listening to Fatman on Batman he really liked playing the role.

Kinda want to see Hammill as Abra Kadabra to be honest.

I've been rewatching Arrow season 2, so I decided to get get caught up on Flash.

I think I like flash more. I still think his helmet gives him egg-head, but I like how it's a little more light hearted and seems to have fewer "soap opera meetings in the dining hall" which plague Arrow a bit too much for me.

I've seen this a bit.
I think it's just the tone.
People seem to be enjoying the more light-hearted and super-powered nature of The Flash.
I'm digging it as well, but I don't think Arrow has still had better peaks (Granted comparing 2 seasons to 2 episodes)

.

Robbie needs to be in a crossover episode where he fights his double (like vs Vertigo in the Arrow S3 pilot), the opportunity is just too good to pass up.
