Eh. I disagree. There's not really any particularly good reason to lie to the people you care about like that. It doesn't make them any safer, really.

Depends on what kind of hero you are. With Flash there really was no reason. He's a genuine hero. For Oliver Queen, when he started his career as mass murderer...well. I would say he actually had a damn good reason to keep a secret.

Still a dick move. A good one from his perspective, but still.

Supergirl looks like it can fit into the Arrowverse with little to no issues. I'm guessing that CBS wants the show to prove itself before they consider any crossovers. CBS & CW are owned by the same parent company if I recall correctly.

The only issue I can see being a "problem" is that Superman existed for awhile in Supergirl. People shouldn't be that surprised by all the metahuman stuff if there's a guy in Metropolis already doing insane feats.

Oh, I'm sorry. I meant Olicity Quoak.

I really dislike how often CW shows skip a week. It feels like the Arrow and Flash can't go more than 3 consecutive episodes without random weeks being skipped. It doesn't stop me from watching the shows obviously but it's just frustrating.

What? They aired 4 consecutive episodes before their first break. Then they aired 5 consecutive episodes before their second break. Then 5 more consecutive episodes before their third break, and right now they're on their 9th consecutive episode.

All things considered, CW has been one of the better broadcast networks when it comes to placing their breaks.

Oh, you should watch Person of Interest and Gravity Falls. While you're at it, start to read the manga Berzerk and Hunter x Hunter.
FlashGAF would lose their shit if The Flash had a schedule like Gravity Falls.

Actually we'll be on our 6th consecutive episode. They took a week off after episode 17.

The guy who kicked Reverse Flash's ass.

As stated above he would've been wrecked without Ray Palmer's tech.

What do you mean? There's no Superman in Metropolis. Only that garbage tabloid Daily Planet keeps making stuff up about some superhero. It's obviously fake. If you follow areal respected news source, like anything from Luthor News Network, you will know all of those strange things can be logically explained by weather baloons and swamp gasses.

One more thing about this clip
If he's born 136 years from the present time then does the dead for centuries line really work? I guess we still don't know his age and since speedsters age slower his current self could still be centuries older.

Depends on
when Cisco died compared to how old Eobard is.

Actually Stephen Amell has made it clear that DC is open for corssovers as there were plans of him paying a visit to Constantine. This means that there might be crossovers between Supergirl and the Flash ;)

And
in the comics, the Speed Force keeps speedsters younger and more youthful. It's very possible that Eobard is far older than he appeared, assuming they go with that in the show.

so if the original Eobard was looking like he was in his 40's he could very likely be more than double that? Whatever the case may be it's clear the dead for centuries line could easily still work

He also could have been lying in the clip.

Correct
He also could have been lying in the clip.

Doubt it. He has no reason to at this point, and everything we've seen of him is that he only does what's necessary. Anything else is folly and doesn't matter. He's very no nonsense.

So Wells was born in 2151? Even with slow Speedster aging and future medical developments that still puts him in the 2200s. My guess is they didn't want to go too far in the future so as to make it easier to show if Barry or the Legends time travel.

Also it seems Barry's identity was never public in the future. Which means Crisis and Wally probably never happened - even though the newspaper hints at it so it very likely involves Eobard in some way - so my guess is once again that Flashpoint doesn't erase the past but gives a clean slate for the future.

"Because I hate you."

Fantastic. Wells is absolutely fantastic.

It's a simple line but it's delivered in such a way that you really feel it. Wells has been consistently amazing this whole season. With this being the finale I wonder if this is the last time we'll see the Wells version of the reverse flash. It's strange because you don't want them to overuse him but at the same time he's so incredible I could watch him do this for years.

It is very interesting that only those two are together and not Amell... Maybe because Arrow theme is more darker?

Maybe Amell was busy doing Turtles 2 and couldn't get away. Yeah that's all it is.

Reminds me, why didn't we have a musical episode yet? Put NPH as Musik Meister in and let Barry sing the whole episode!

I think they've said they don't want to do one just for the sake of it. Maybe little moments like the karaoke scene but that's it. They could just create a metahuman who forces everyone to talk in the form of a song.
