You're crazy. That was best ep this season and one of the very best villains of the week Arrow had.

And yes, she's from comics, but the show version was so much better

In the comics, Professor Zoom was a Flash Fanboy from the future who gave himself powers then time traveled back to the present because he worshipped Flash that much.

I think
Eddie will end up being a red herring to deflect suspicion from the real killer. His last name does suggest he may end up with speed powers to paint the target on him more firmly though.
 
I hope that the Supergirl show isn't actually connected to the Arrowverse and that the next show is the Suicide Squad.

Give me an episode where Waller sends Cupid and Deathstroke out on a mission together.
 
Thought both Arrow and The Flash were great this week, but by virtue of being more consistent and not having douchey DJs, The Flash easily wins

The pacing has been perfect, Wells is eating everyone else alive - whenever he's on screen, I'm gripped - I continue to love Grant Gustin, the effects, the charm, the fanservice nods

This last three episodes before the break... I need them now, and yet I don't want the break to come!

I think he is Hunter Zolomon aka Zoom. A different character from Reverse Flash.

In the comics Zoom travels through time to kill Linda Park to ensure that Wally West becomes a better hero, since he thinks that a personal tragedy will propel West to become the hero he should be.

Wells motives are kind of similar to Zoom in the comics.

just an FYI, Zoom (Solomon) didn't travel through time per se. his powers are time based and he moves forward by traveling thru time a second or less ahead of everyone else. that's why he's actually faster than the Flash.
will we see Mirror Master this season?

Why don't you want the Supergirl show in the Arrowverse? Suicide Squad could work as a summer show or something. Like 13 episodes or something, it doesn't need a full season.

Why not? Well ok, Suicide Squad leading into a full Secret Six show would be great.
 
I've got a feeling the cells will become a plot point again before the season is out... either the morality of it or something more. It's kind of funny how everyone is just totally okay with it.

Maybe there'll be a break-out, or something quite dark happening to the prisoners
 
I could see them being fun new lab rats for Wells.

But that would probably be a bit too dark for the show and hard to justify once it gets out.
 
I imagine a jailbreak episode where Barry has to fight them all again.


Also, I thought the Vibe thing was a running Neogaf joke, but holy cow-- Cisco actually has the same name as Vibe from the comics (I was thrown since he goes by Paco).

Finally got around to watching the ep

Barry was so bad at deterring Iris to stop writing about the streak in the beginning lmao

That flash back scene "looks like you were to born to take a beating" was so corny lol

Why the hell didn't Barry just get iris out of the whole situation before starting the main encounter? I know I know TV.

Overall best enemy encouters we've had yet I think. Probably my favorite episode to date.

If it's decently done it will finally allow Katie Cassidy to take the character, evolve her and get on the good side of fans.
We all know Cassidy can play Laurel in a way that appeals to people, she just hasn't had the writing for that on her side.

His sentence is a bit weird, but I think he meant that she acts like Flash is the prostitute, not that she's one.

Anyway,I don't mind Iris that much.She's a bit useless for now, but that's the extent of it for me. She doesn't negatively impact the show the way Laurel did in Arrow.
 
Just got around to watching the latest episode after a week of travel.

Man, this episode was amazing. Joe and Wells talking was really good. Both are amazing actors....and see them come together with some interactions and conflicts.

Wouldn't Joe find it suspicious that this yellow streak of lightning hasn't been seen or heard of for a decade and a half, suddenly appear after he talks to Wells?

While we didn't get a clip of Wells standing up today, we got something better at the end...

I don't hate Iris, but I think the romance between Barry and Iris is just... not great.

Barry and Felicity or Barry and Caitlin have way more chemistry. There's no heat between Barry and Iris. In fact, the idea of heat is a distant galaxy away from what we get.

It honestly literally feels like a brother/sister relationship and Barry wants to commit incest.
