Looks like they're sticking with the comics as far as shipping goes.
Sorry, SnowBarry shippers.

The Deadline article I read had said they narrowed it down to Liam, Stephen, and one other and were about to fly them out to New Zealand to meet with the cast and production crew. Later that week they updated to say none of the three had gotten the part but they kept Liam out there while they released the other two. About two months later in January they announced Liam had gotten the part.
The bootcamps were in New Zealand weren't they?
They've said as much for Arrow as well and we've seen how much meandering they've done there. I don't doubt Barry ends up with Iris but on and off isn't out of the question.

I just started watching this show this week and holy shit it's way better than i expected (on episode six). I watched the first two seasons of Arrow a couple months ago and liked it for the most part , but the CW melodrama and more love triangles than i could count really dragged it down from greatness, as much as i love Slade. I kinda viewed it as a guilty pleasure.
Flash is so much better though. Better acting, less CW-ish, and only one love triangle which is actually reasonable. I'm not sure a live action super hero show could get much better than this. I'm really impressed. I really like the guy playing Barry too.
If that Teen Titans show turns out as good as this, I'll be ecstatic, since the cartoon was one of my favorites when i was younger.
I would argue that Iris and Barry isn't even that reasonable. At least it's done now. Kind of.
It's not done, though, right? It's just become more complicated. Iris cried when Barry revealed his feelings, so there's strong emotion there, and now that she knows Barry loves her, she'll start to see him in a different light.
I would say it will be a slow burn on her doing that, but this show moves so fast a slow burn may be two episodes.
Also, are juniors allowed on the hype train?
I think the poster meant that 'Barry pining' is done for now. That entire episode was him realising he'd been a scared kid for years and needed to grow up. So it'll probably flip to Iris realising she has feelings for Barry, while he moves the fuck on and tries to live an adult life for a while.
I found later stories where Amell was the top contender of the three with Liam being unconsidered because he just didn't look strong enough. Than he did bootcamp, which helped him beat out Amell. I'm glad it happened like it did. Liam made a great Spartacus, Stephen is an awesome Arrow and I sure didn't care a fuck about Kili in The Hobbit.
Spartacus is such a hidden gem. I have no idea how I found the show, but man, the first 2 seasons were so awesome. I consider myself someone who enjoys the "finer" side of TV (Mad Men, Sopranos, Breaking Bad etc.) but Spartacus is still one of my favorite few seasons I've ever watched of a show. Make it through the first 4 episodes and you are in for a fucking treat. Awesome action, fun story and hottest topless women you will find in pretty much any show.
Really sucks the main guy died of cancer.
The finale had 1.42 million viewers. The highest it ever got was 1.72 million. It scored about as much viewers as Starcrossed. It was not very popular ratingwise.I would call Spartacus many things, but hidden isn't one of them this series was very popular when it was running
It's in the order of how the avatars were organized when I downloaded them, though PNGs get a front seatHow am I so far back on the train!
I helped start it!

Nope. 20th of January.I saw this thread get bumped and thought a new episode was out this week.![]()
The Sound and the Fury (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, LV) (HDTV)
John Showalter directed the episode written by Alison Schapker & Brooke Eikmier (#111). Original airdate 1/27/2015.BROADWAY STAR ANDY MIENTUS GUEST STARS AS THE PIED PIPER Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh) former protégée, Hartley Rathaway (guest star Andrew Mientus), returns to seek revenge on his mentor after being affected by the particle accelerator explosion. Now able to manipulate sound waves, the brilliant Rathaway is a dangerous threat to both Wells and The Flash (Grant Gustin). Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) is thrilled when shes hired by the Central City Picture News as their newest cub reporter. Unfortunately, her editor (guest star Tom Butler) pairs her with a veteran reporter, Mason Bridge (guest star Roger Howarth), who wants nothing to do with her. Cisco (Carlos Valdes) recalls his first day on the job at S.T.A.R. Labs when he met Hartley and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker). Joe (Jesse L. Martin) asks Eddie (Rick Cosnett) for a favor but asks him to keep it a secret from Barry.
Derailment is usually the thing that stops the hype train. Let's hope that doesn't happen. If I get on the hype train there's no getting off.
I already hate the Iris subplot.
Well, that's how superpowers were introduced into Flash land. I don't think we'll see them straying from that, at least not in the first season.Jesus, I really wish they'd stop using that particle accelerator as a crutch. Reminds me of Smallville and how every villain was a "meteor freak" because of kryptonite exposure.
Maybe some more non-meta villains, but they'd have to have a gimmick (ala Captain Cold) or else Barry would just crush them.
They're doing villain of the week a lot better than Smallville did.
The big difference is that the villain(s) of the week in The Flash are actual Flash villains, whereas in Smallville the villains had powers that were some sort of manifestation of their social or psychological issues. I'm way more excited to see the Rogues than some kid who just happens to control insects.(I'm going off memory for that one, so I might be wrong.)
To be fair when Smallville used actual superman villains it wasn't that much better =P
With the exception of Lex and MAYBE Brainiac
Deathstroke
